You are both so nice and funny. Really like the hidden gems you find around the world. Wish your channel can grow fast, as you are way better than a lot of other similar content creators. Best of luck.
Thanks so so much! Amazing comments like this really motivate us to keep getting out there and creating videos! Thanks a million for following along on our crazy adventure!
I just discovered your channel and am seriously loving every video. So fun to see places I have and haven't been to through your lens. I did live in Madrid for a few months and will never forget how good and dry the food was, lol. Also you've got me reminiscing about late-night churros after clubbing until 6am...when in Madrid! Hope you guys can go back for longer next time. Thanks for the great content.
Thank you so much! When we were in Madrid we were on a year trip with only an $82 daily budget! When we return we will be able to do more and stay longer. Thanks so much for joining our delicious adventure! See you next week from Japan!
I think the secret of Spaniards being thinner than the average American is, they don't pour as much oily, salty sauces on food to make it "tastier".They eat food as it comes and enjoy its natural flavours without hiding or altering it with sauces or whatever.
Love this and that’s a great point. A sandwich like that would be twice the size too! The bread and the calamari was phenomenal. Can’t wait to try other bocadillos the next time we visit Spain.
What a weird comment, why would anyone vacationing trying to eat some good food be worrying about being skinnier on their trip? Like who cares about being thin they trying to eat some good food!
I follow a great number of youtube channels involving food and drinks and travel. I can honestly say you have surpassed a large number of them. I would rather watch you than the Food Ranger, Mikey Chen and Mark Wiens. Please keep going - I SO look forward to every video you post.
This is the best comment ever! Thank you so so much. We are working to get better for sure and look up to those guys for sure! Thanks a million for watching it means the world to us! Lots of delicious videos to come! Mexico, Australia, Morocco, Japan, Vietnam! See you soon!
I believe the hours are wrong from 2020 lockdown times- the calamari stand is definitely open everyday! And there’s almost always a line. Thanks for watching!
Guys don't underestimate The Spaniards, they have been eating calamari since they were part of the Roman Empire. A Bocadillo of calamares is just one way of 100 that Spaniards have to eat calamari. I'll leave you some links of Spanish calamari recipes
Thanks so much for the comment! The bread and the calamari were both phenomenal I think being American we are so used to everything being very complicated😂. Please let us know any dishes or unique foods we should try in our next visit to Spain!
I'm struggling to understand why you'd come to Madrid, Spain (which has some of the best local food in the world) and have Argentinean empanadas. Try poros instead of churos next time. They're thicker, fluffier and more absorbent.

wow churros and chocolate!
We thought it was too much chocolate and then we proceeded to drink the entire cup😂

One of the best ways to travel, if you see a line- get in it! Thanks for watching!
They should give you a piece of lemon to squeeze over the calamares
We probably could’ve asked but we are noobs! Great calamari though!

Thanks for having us💯
i cant understand the american obsession with sauces. if you have a good product you dont need sauce.
Life’s better with the sauce!
