I’ve been debating buying one of these to add to my emergency supplies. Most videos just show people boiling water for the kettle but not cooking anything. Thanks for this video I’m going to order myself one.
@@stephs6083 I’m glad you found the video helpful. I think you will find it a good bit of kit & I also like the idea of having it as a back up. Let me know how you get on with it 👍
Nice calming video buddy, that was a pleasure to watch. Food looked delicous i love cajun chicken. Ive just bought the scout and cant wait to get out a get it fired up see how it fairs. Looking forward to watching more of your content ive just hit the sub button. Atvb, Garry
Thanks Gary, I really appreciate the support. You will enjoy using the Kelly kettle, it’s quite a versatile bit of kit and good in all weather. Glad you enjoyed the video 👍
@@LoneWolfExplorer my dad sadly passed away September last year. I was left a little bit of money, so bought a Kelly kettle. So really it's a gift from him so its going to mean a lot taking it out with me.
@@360OutdoorAdventures So sorry to hear that sad news. I know what that feels like, I lost my dad Feb 2021. I miss him dearly, he was my best friend. What we have now is our memories, that’s how they stay with us 🙏
Great video its great seeing it in action, ordered the smallest model of KK, the trekker model ultimate kit, i think I'll be liking it. -3C is tee-shirt weather lol couldnt resist, middle of winter here is -30C, thankfully we're past the worst of it .
Thank you, appreciate you watching and commenting. I think you enjoy using the Kelly kettle, the trekker model is great size much more compact. -30c wow that’s cold, where abouts are you located?
@@LoneWolfExplorer Alberta Canada, this winter was a funny one, our cold snap in January didn't last as long thankfully, I think the coldest it got was around the -40 without the windchill
@@MrMann703 I would love to visit Canada one day, It looks such a beautiful place. When it’s cold in Canada is it a dry cold, you know like cold and crisp? See here in the U.K. most of the time when it’s cold it’s also wet is very unpleasant being cold and damp :(
@@LoneWolfExplorer along the east coast doesn't get as cold (still cold) but they get a wet soak into your pants type cold, the prairies, Manitoba Saskatchewan and Alberta are more of a dry but very cold, British Columbia is probably the mildest part of Canada during the winter, they average -5 and are more likely to get rain than snow lol I almost forgot the territories, extreme cold, longer winters. Usually in Alberta 6 months of the year have snow, this year with the exception of a few miserable spells was actually pleasant
Thanks mate, appreciate you watching & glad you enjoyed it. This is the newer Kelly kettle with the whistle, I believe the older ones are not to be boiled with the bung in. I do need to remember though to take the kettle off the fire and then remove the bung so I don’t scold myself 😬
I am so proud to say that you are my son. You are amazing and can have a go at doing everything Love you so very much. Xxxx
Thank you mum, I really appreciate that. I love you to X
Another great video! You’re a proper Kelly kettle expert now pal 👏👏
Thanks mate :) I'm not sure I would call myself a Kelly kettle expert just yet lol
@@LoneWolfExplorer ok let’s say more proficient than me then 🤣
@@OutAndAbout-UK Ok I’ll take that 😀
I love you. Xx

I’ve got to stop watching these videos when I’m hungry 🤤
Now you know what to have for dinner 😋
Nice video and decent looking grub! Loved the comment from your mother.. the one person who's guaranteed to love ya no matter what! 😅
Thank you, I appreciate the comment. Yes my mum, she’s a darling, very supportive & guaranteed to always love me 😉
I have a Kelly kettle. I bought a few years ago. Haven’t used it much. But love it
The Kelly kettle is a great bit of kit, I hope my video will inspire you get out your Kelly kettle & use it more. Thanks for watching :)
Fantastic video - thank you for going to the effort of showing actual cooking.
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it. I actually really enjoy cooking outdoors, hoping to do some more in the near future 👍

Try -30C in Ottawa - now that’s cold!
Now that’s cold 🥶 I don’t think I’d be cooking Cajun chicken in -30c although it would be an adventure 😉
nice calming video, keep up the good work. One note don't boil the kelly kettle with the bung in as it's not designed to work that way.

@@LoneWolfExplorer thanks for clarifying. I didn't know they had changed the design. Had mine for years so clearly the original design.
