      Hello KC, how are you? I would like to know one thing, is it possible that you do a master class for 1 week by invitation in Africa? if so, tell me your rate and the procedure to follow.
      I’d like you to do a master class just for a week and then you can go home to America.
      I’ll stay tuned.

      @@prettysimplemusic Hey Kc, you know what brother, why don't you check yourself playing in my song? I did enjoy one of your MIDI file and adapted the harmony and created a wonderfull intro for my song. I'll tell something, your playing there is so awesome, with no mistake, that sounds like a mix of Kenny Kirkland and H Hancock together with a flavor of Joey Calderazzo. Here is is, I hope you enjoy it: th-cam.com/video/VIyhD9Uu6j0/w-d-xo.html

    Nice tutorial, especially for skilled performers. However: People who are unfamiliar of the very basic tritone resolution to M3/m6, are unlikely to play complex 7-note chord progressions. And 251 chords with a lot of progressional combinations, might be hard to absorb. A good thing here is the tritone focus, placing the dom7 in the center. The dom7 also often defines the scale root, as it's the only tetrad (4-note chord) of its kind, in the Major scale. Music theory traditionally puts the tonic in the center. However: Dissonant space is vastly larger than harmonic space. And a dissonant chord can be extended up include all 12 notes, if desired, with some pedaling. So music harmony videos based on dissonance are most interesting.

      Hi Evan! Wow man… you are spot on! 🎯 I can tell you’re an advanced musician and I value your feedback and musical advice!!! Much love ☀️💚

    • @evennorthug2585
      @evennorthug2585 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow. Thank you. I've read some theory, privately, and I do play the piano. But I find little support for performing in existing theory, as it focuses so much on harmony and less on disharmony. And why are there two sets of theory, tonal and atonal? What Stravinsky did, was to stretch tonality, while Schoenberg wanted to break free entirely, at the same time advocating monotonality. Luckily, we have the TH-cam-bloggers. Keep it up!

    You know when I was a youngin my pops use to drill me on circle of 4ths & 5ths in all keys with both hands!!! When he would leave I would play with those chords idk know they had names!!! I use to say C# dom7 +9 with my left hand and perfect 4 on D# !!! It didn’t click until I started working with some OGs and I would ask them what’s the name of the chord? Over time and now I spit out names of chords and it irritates me when people transpose and don’t know their basic chord names!! But I get it my pops gave college teaching as a 4 year old!!!
