Chaos and MADNESS Takes Over Forza Motorsport

- As a Noob to sim racing, I thought I'd share my Forza Touring Car experiences, my wins, my loses and my wtf moments. I try to explain my thought process and hopefully provide you with a learning guide or useful tips.
My strategy is simple, stay alive at all cost. We all know Forza Motorsport can be a little chaotic at times. I hope with a more passive tactic, I can swoop in and take the position. While also improving my own skills as a sim racing driver.
Track learning is key, hopefully by reviewing my race choices and my mistakes, I can help others learn and improve upon their lap times. Thus making the racing world more fun and competitive.
I am using a G920 Logitech wheel, and playing Forza Motorsport on PC using Xbox Game pass. I do not have the VIP, or cars pass, this is the basic game as available to everyone.
I do hope you all enjoy the content, Racing and Sim racing is great fun and helps you escape the harsh reality of the life.

“Immediately jump into 2nd gear to reduce wheel spin”
If you’ll jump into your tune and move your 1st gear to the number that your 2nd gear is and then evenly space your gears between there and 6th you’ll start to out accelerate everyone everywhere.
First gears raw brutalness was needed in some corners which is why I didn’t change the ratio to much. Especially coming out of the bus stops
If I share a gear ratio list with you, will you give it a shot? I’m confident that it’d be good for at least 0.5-2 seconds per lap for you
Sounds like a winning formula to me man. I’ll give it a shot when I drive that car next. I’m going through car by car see what they are all like. Although I do have a soft spot for that TT man.
There were some angry drivers through those first corners. I don't know how you stay so cool - if this was me it would defo be an 18-rated commentary!

Some first corners look like the battle of agincourt, that wasn’t too bad 😛 your handling is impressive and you still manage to turn in high gear. Impressive.

Good racing as always bud. You should try finding the optimum revs to launch with and gradually increase throttle off the line. Usually works off better as the majority of people will go full throttle straight away spinning their wheels.
Also, that black car in Mugello was a KTM GT2
I used to do that in the mg but noticed it really didn’t make a difference when launching. Thing is I don’t want to bog down either. I’m going to have to try it out in private lobby. But the car spins in first and second no matter what. Same when coming out of tight corners. So really it’s a case of changing the first gear ratio. To minimise wheel spin.

I'd love to see the replay of the muggello race, it looked the front two were side by side for must of it.

Sorry bud, I no longer have the replay on Forza, due to the limit applied you can only have so many replays, so I usually delete them after I recorded the replay.
