    For extra storage there are 2 ROPS options...the tractor caddy asktractormike.com/product/tractor-caddy/ and the tractor tool tray greatdayinc.com/products/lawn-garden-accessories/tractor-tool-tray/ but the upper part of the winch might hit them.

    You’re doing great with all your Big Boy Toys, Stihl, Farmi, grapple, Diesel Kubota, oh Baby! I’m checking this out to see that Farmi working. Any vid on the chainsaw mount? Thanks, Dave!

    You are well equipped for winter logging! I miss that winch. I am in the planning of making one! You got more snow than we got. The last load was quite impressive! Especially in deep snow without tire chains! Thanks Kirk!

    Kirk, great video, and thanks for demonstrating what my tractor (cabbed L4060) is capable of doing! Once I get my cabin built on my 100 acre bush lot (so I have winter accommodation), I’ll be doing much the same sort of wood harvesting. However I’ll need some really good studded chains due to some serious hills.
    I like that chainsaw scabbard - could you please tell me where I could get one?

    Great Stuff! I spent the whole day doing the same thing. Just a little different setup.... L3901 with V-Bar rear chains and a Wallenstein FX85. Love it!!!

    Really nice job! It’s amazing how much wood and how fast you can put it up. I’ve got the same winch, which I use with a 5105 John Deere. A great tool for small scale forestry.

    Nice work! Do you use tire chains when the snow is deeper?

    • @backinthewoods2022
      @backinthewoods2022  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have not needed them yet with the 4 wheel drive so I have not bought any. I would say about a foot and a half of snow and the tractor can get through without to much trouble but after that chains would come in handy. I have a Ford 8N also and I have chains because they are a necessity for a two wheel drive tractor.
