First of all Navi Mumbai didn't fail.. It's flourishing at its own pace.. the growth is slow because of the govts inablity to provide basic amenities on time.. The bus facilities are inadequate, trains aren't running on time, shared auto and taxi have their own mafia squads which is not controlled by authorities. Govt. simply couldn't provide when needed. Still the presence of private services are more helpful than the public transport.
Secondly I can only figure out that influential people have a lot of investment in new panvel and outskirts of panvel which is not selling because of lack of amenities and with the name PANVEL attached.. Hence Third Mumbai.. because mumbai is easy to sell..
You should literally change your video title.. its misleading for new buyers and whatever the case be it will be costlier to travel from third Mumbai to Actual Central Mumbai..

@@ThankYouGoogle4 Its not a con at all. Old panvel area is already well established with transportation, hospitals, schools. So the builders and may be govt. decided to build a "New Panvel" which is way out of panvel, away from easy transport so it seems people who are aware of the area are not investing in their projects. 1 because they are charging too much in the name of "Panvel", 2 areas in New Panvel are not so much established. Hence they got the idea of making Third Mumbai. Which will cover all the projects in New Panvel renamed as Third Mumbai.
That doesn't mean that it is not a good investment. If you are planning for a long term investment you can sure go for it. But for a similar price you can get a flat in New Mumbai which is way closer to Mumbai and connectivity is available via different means..

Does People from those areas pay tax to goverment unlike Mumbai and it's suburbs??
People in Mumbai-pune work harder and also they invest in the economy many entrepreneurs are from those areas and Outside Enterprises rather than interior parts of Maharashtra would choose Mumbai/Pune rather than smaller cities
And also another factor is are there people who are in those areas encouraging industries? really going to give thier own land for Industrial purpose
When a plant was going to built in konkan
      People opposed the plant
As they wanted to preserve ''eco-system and nature of konkan"
This leds to investors and industrialists being low in confidence for investment in that area...
In Mumbai, Except for Arrey depot incident, many people have supported the development rather than other factors
That why, people and industries are inclined towards the Mumbai Pune and its suburbs
nagpur is somewhat developing but nashik requires good transport like Metro and suburban line like Manmad to Igatpuri
Other towns in MH(Chh. Sambhaji nagar,Nanded,Latur,Jalna, Amravati) are not that suitable currently unless Entrepreneurs are being given some allowances and assurance about future development or else they would not try to invest

We don't need Third Mumbai at all at this moment Mumbai & Maharashtra only needs one thing & that is people from other parts of India who have migrated to Maharashtra should now go back & Mumbai & Maharashtra have exhausted it's capacity how much urbanisation is Government going to carry our in Maharashtra, it's time to develop other states of India instead of creating Third Mumbai develop cities like Lucknow, Kanpur, Jaipur etc & other cities in North & South India. How much are you going to pound on Mumbai & Maharashtra. If we want India to develop than every city & state needs to develop to achieve this goal ,development can't be concentrated in a particular city & State.

You are funny atleast let them build 3rd mumbai which most likely to fail unless all corporate want to move too, it's not people who decide it's corporates and jobs which decides whether it will succeed or not, and most likely what you are saying that public transport must be good it will require lot of money which would go waste if it fails and If they didn't build public transport it's going fail for sure, make jobs available there in local region so traveling is less to main mumbai, so they depend on it. This channel is sponsored by builder and capitalists who just want to build building and want projects from government to build quick money and leave, they don't care about people in general

Mumbai’s main issue is it does not have a whole lot of industries- so the metro area’s GDP is pretty small at $150 billion for a city that wants to be a global city. Shanghai’s gdp is $600 billion as a comparison. Maharashtra despite having a lot of land and a long coastline has a gdp of only $450 billion for a population of 120 million people. that is pretty low for a so-called industrial state. Better set up a lot of export oriented industries. Mumbai metro area has a lot of unutilized land. Maharashtra needs to double its GDP quickly and for that Mumbai has to more than double its GDP.
