    I am from Brics country. It doesn’t make sense to use USD. For example when we buy something from China, we need to use USD instead of Yuan. And we loss from the buy and sell process of the currency, USD, which the country itself does not involve in the trade.

    • @PandaPanda-ud4ne
      @PandaPanda-ud4ne หลายเดือนก่อน

      It does, because the USA is a real currency that is tradable. YUAN is not a real currency and not tradable. It has no value. The Dollar is the standard currency, because rating agencies and economic experts rate it in real time. You cannot do that with the Yuan, because the Yuan is a made up currency by the CCP under Xi Ping, who is a Tyrant with unlimited power in China and no accountability.

    • @PandaPanda-ud4ne
      @PandaPanda-ud4ne หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      The USD is the comparison that is used for currencies world wide. WITHOUT the USD there is a great problem in measuring how much the YUAN is actually worth. Because, when you use YUAN, you actually use a currency, that is highly manipulated and intransparent and is issued by a dictatorship, so the REAL economic value of the currency is totally unknown. To cirumvent that, we use the USD, the Dollar, because from all currencies, that is the most transparent one, the most valuable one, and the one, that is available in great numbers OUTSIDE the US. That is not the case with the Yuan or the currency your country would use.

      @@PandaPanda-ud4newhat you said totally summed up the reason for moving from the gold back system because the US wanted to spend more than what it actually had in gold reserves and prop up it currency in truth the dollar isn't backed by anything but the military and its not fare to other countries because in truth there is no government that is going to be transparent and forthright to be honnest enought to say the actually valve of there currency so if we aint going back ti the gold standard best we continue to trade in our own currency which is like a barter system and no one inflate any currency

      It's interesting to learn more about the discussions and proposals around BRICS nations and their potential use of gold. There are several reasons why people may choose to buy gold, including its historical use as a store of value and means of exchange, its potential as a hedge against inflation or currency devaluation, and its relative scarcity compared to other commodities. Additionally, gold can offer diversification benefits to investment portfolios, as it tends to have a low correlation with other asset classes like stocks and bonds. However, it's important to note that investing in gold carries risks and may not be suitable for evervone. and investors should carefully consider their investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial situation before making any decisions.Read more

    Yes, India has the right to promote its currency like America has its right to tax its citizens!
    The biggest problem with using only $ is, countries don’t have $ available all the time because the way the current system works. So, is all countries do at least 50% of business in local currencies, and do transactions each other, balancing the books gets easier. We are not collecting currency, but currency is just a convenient way to do business. Ultimately your currency is your product & service and money is just for accounting!

      Bitcoin is a speculative asset. Its become so expensive that using it as a currency is kind of self defeating and waste. Crypto is too highly volatile. You cant take a token inflate it and then exchange for money goods inside another monetary system without creating massive inflation. Crypto is bad for the current economy. Cant have people paid in one currency wages competing against a speculative asset. In many countries the government is the large employer. Is the government going to pay wages in Bitcoin? Bankers and government would prefer CBDC so they have control over peoples lives taxes digital id program money to expire and have levers of monetary power economic influence on market system.

      BRICS does not want to dump the US$$. Doing so would rock their own economies as well. Many nations still have billions$$ in loans, assets and Treasury bills. They will gradually begin trading less and less in US$ and more in their own currency, gold, or another commodity, which the two trading partners agree with. De-dollarization is a slow process unless the Global North decides to implement a CBDC and not use US$ themselves.
