We decide to fire up the young sister of the gt185 after being stored for a long time. We strip the carbs down and clean them in the ultrasonic cleaner.

i have the same modle -from new but has no spark just like yours was ;what did you do get it to fire -up please ;;

You need to go thru the electrical system.check points are clean ,check you have voltage at the points,and condenser .then check your coils.probley points corroded.

@@peteramberley9952 sorry to bother you ; i have found that no power is going to the condeners ,all lights & horn work "ect" ;battery ok ;any idea please thankyou ;;

@malcolmcroll the condenser absorbs voltage.disconect the condenser and check the voltage at the points.if you don't have a live you need to trace it back to the ignition coil.get a continuity tester on a muilty meter and check for breaks or bad conections / grounds
