That bike looks in showroom condition.. Brings back memories to me of lovely two-stroke sounds and smells. I owned a couple of Yammmy 2-strokes back in the day. Had fabulous fun riding them.
Beauty. A mate had one in 1977. Non of us wanted a black plate back in the day. Yellow was much cooler then. So to keep it authentic to the times it needs to be yellow. It changed at J reg 1970/71. You could have either at J reg but K reg had to be yellow at the back and white at the front till the front was outlawed.
Just seen this video and took me right back to 1976. I had a GT125 brand new in 76 in the same blue and just as clean and tidy. Thanks for the the trip down memory lane. Wish I had of kept it :(
I am getting a fuzzy feeling seeing this beauty and hearing the sound again....This was my first bike in 1976 as a 18 y.o.....so many memories of trips in Switzerland with it :)..;Thank you!
BEAUTIFUL!!! 🥰 My first ever bike, bought it in boxes of bits & built it up as a 17 year old in 1982. Nowhere near as good as your example but I loved it & still have a real soft spot for them.
my older brother had a suzi GT185 , i had honda MT50 and everytime he went down the pub i used to go for a joyride on it at 16 cause with a little jiggling my honda key fitted it and WOW was it pokey 💯
An absolutely superb discovery when I somehow stumbled across your channel. I live about 5 mins from you and was telling a friend that grew up with his brothers 70's machines all about it on a Sunday afternoon when the R08 MEN Batmobile drove past us.
Bruv that's a sweet bike I live in north Carolina USA I've been looking for one of them or a gt250 I just bought a 1975 Suzuki re5 I'm restoring it.. it's been sitting since 1996 she my dream bike I love old Suzuki motorcycles thanks for sharing your beautiful bike.
Wot an absolute gem !! Had a 185 . That was nice !! Message to all the S T R O K E R S out there ! Wondering which two stroke oil to use in are old girls ?? Simple !! Castrol A 7 4 7 non synthetic . The old girls love it !! Especially the triples !!! & It burns lean in those pots !!!
my sister had one in red ,and she passed it on to me back in the day 😃it was very quick ,I beat a Suzuki gt185 and a Yamaha xs250 on one of these and it did 85mph ,with a beautiful screeching engine ,I want this 😃🐑
