I bought a Kiss machine around 30 years ago for $100 working a 100% too. I can't believe what the machine is priced at these days. I saw a Kiss for sale at $5000, which is insane.
The Volume Control is located on the Sound Board which is located in the Backbox. It's the small board on the bottom right. There are two potentiometers on the Sound Board. One is for the Volume and the other is for the Sustain.

The Hotel Del had an arcade in the 80’s when I was a kid and had this exact one. That was my first introduction to KISS
It's cool to see where the bumper designs and 4x4 grid in the Stern game came from!

The only pinball I ever mastered could play all day on 20c. Would love to own one but I was never that gentle with it.
