    hey bro at 4:40 i think you accidentally said the sprockets backwards. Its supposed to be 17 on the front and 45 on the back. Thats what mine has and most others run the same. Not trying to be a jerk just dont want people accidentally buying the wrong thing.

      God bless you. I work 9pm-6am. I do alright but I'm not about wasting money. I've been riding for 20 years and my current bike is a 2022 KTM RC390. I got it for $4k cash with 300 miles on it. I ride almost as much as I drive. A litre bike for me is a waste. Also I like my skin and my life so I really feel no need to do triple digits and or weave in and out dangerously on public roads. I just recently found out about these and I definitely think I'm gonna grab one and commute on it. Ride safe. 🤘🏽

Will look into exhaust and air box . Bike does 62 (phone gps) now and I'm about 210-220 lbs. Put in iridium plug 1st thing and have done 5 oul changes and 2 valve lash adjustments so far ..... She runs a bit rich it seems , even with the fuel injection ... I know there's more power to be had . Fun bike to tinker on , just dont expect miracles .... +1 for Shinko 705s, they really transform the bike. I love to be the goofy sport bike rider on a dual sport and scooch a buttcheek off the seat in the twisties haha. Lovely roads btw, looks similar to what we have in Western Pennsylvania. Looks perfect for the hawk 😉 I'm liking what your doing with this channel, I wanted to start a small moto vlog channel just to remember my experiences as a newer rider and see how I grow.

      thanks for all the kind words bro!! I'm a little nervous about hanging my body off this bike right now, I've done it a few time and I'm always shocked how much grip I have with good form like that... but man is it scary to basically lean down towards the road when I'm used to a more neutral position. You should start a channel, once you get your work flow down its really easy to do compared to alot of other content (as long as you're comfortable with filming and it doesn't distract you from the road )

    I'm about to completely mod my hawk 250 EFI so I don't have a carb and I'm not sure what it would take to or if I should switch it from EFI to carb but I was looking for some of the mods my biggest interest are putting the 80% Street 20% off-road tires on it and I didn't catch the name and I didn't see the link either in the comments? But I got the sprocket changes I actually added a quick throttle to so it's like a 3/4 turn as opposed to the full turn and I'm definitely going to change out the exhaust from the stock but my biggest interest are the tires

    Love your videos and you have helped me out a lot on my decisions on upgrades. Curious, would you pick your bike over the the one with the EFI and no carb? I was thinking about that bike but then I found your video. That bike cost more and you have to pay $350 for shipping. So I’m thinking just go with the bike you have and make the same mods. Suggestions? Thank you again.

    • @BodieMoto
      @BodieMoto  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Personally I went for the car version because it's cheaper like you said and I wanted to use this bike to learn how to work on bikes, The EFI version you can't really do too much to it but you don't really need to at the end of the day because it is good to go right out the box basically. The carb version takes a lot more tinkering, you probably want to buy an aftermarket carb and then aftermarket exhaust and bunch of other little mods. It all depends if you value learning how to do that kind of stuff because it is work and more money at the end of the day. Seems like people who buy the EFI version just set it up change the oil and are pretty much good to go. So if you just want to ride right away the EFI version is probably the best but if you want to get a good motorcycle platform to learn how to work on bikes and do a bunch of cheap mods then the carb version is the way to go. Im happy I did what I did! But if I had to do it again I would probably just boy the EFI version and swap the tires. I learned all the stuff I needed to on the carb version.
      Thats confusing and probably doesn't make your decision much easier but hey, it's how I feel lol

    If you're not using the bike off road then i would dump the knobblies. I had them on my DRZ which was fine for off road but i use the bike far more ON road so i put on some road biased tyres that i can still go off road with. The bike moves around a lot more off road but i'm enjoying this. On road i have superb grip and a lot less road noise and probably more speed. Feels like it anyway.
