    I like your casual and honest bike reviews. They answered all my questions and taught me things i didnt know as a beginner. Thanks!

      thank you! I realize these bikes are mostly going to be bought by beginners like myself so I tried to pass on everything I learned. Sometimes people who make motorcycle videos assume the viewers know all the little things already lol forums and facebook groups are outstanding for this bike though, tons of people really taking their time to give good detailed information. Look for those places as you get more experienced!

    I really been thinking about getting a hawk recently and your videos definitely made me come to an agreement that I do want one. Its been 10 months since you uploaded, hope you doing alright man

      thats awesome man! have fun with it, and I'm still doing good I only stopped making videos when the winter happened last year, they I got into mountain biking and cycling so I've been focusing on my health. I was getting terribly unhealthy eating fast food everyday but now doing cardio all the time ive dropped my resting heart rate from 85 to 58 and lost 30lbs. I'll be back to motovlogs eventually!

    I'm still loving my hawk. But this cold weather had my front tire keep getting low so its time to get a new one

    Hi, great video series! I got my RPS Hawk July 4th - truly Independence Day 😁- and I love this thing. It's my first ever bike and it's just enough for me. Do you have a recommendation for a new shifter lever? Mine keeps bending in just enough to block 2nd gear.

    Between $4300 for a CT125 and $1700 for a Hawk, I'd take the Hawk for street use.

    Is it possible to lower the bike/seat? I’m 5’10 with shorter legs longer torso as well and don’t want to look stupid. 😅

    • @BodieMoto
      @BodieMoto  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes! you just have to buy a new rear shock and then you can even lower the front forks a bit. Highly recommend bringing it to a shop to do this as suspension is pretty important in terms of safety!

    You couldn't be more right about testing the limits of the bike and going WOT. I pretty much have no fear on my TBR7 (which might be a bad thing) whereas with my Yamaha 750cc it's a whole different animal. I have no idea what the limit is on that bike and I don't believe that I have gone anywhere close to it. Just recently I went on the highway gunned it and for the first time I felt like if I didn't hug the tank with my legs tightly I was going to fly off the bike. It made me want to just grip the handlebars for dear life but I have watched enough videos to know not to do that. I see now why they stress hugging the tank during the MSF course, there is a point where you feel like the wind combined with the speed of the bike is going throw you off and my TBR7 comes nowhere near that point. That is one thing that the Hawk 250/TBR7 doesn't prepare you for and squeezing the tank with your legs is crucial at high speeds. More so for your own piece of mind to quell the fear that comes with the feeling of being tossed off the bike.

    quick question, i’d have a hawk for commuting to work, it’s a straight ride, 55mph+ road would it be stupid to buy a buy that tops out at high 60s? (trying to save money on gas) thank you

    • @BodieMoto
      @BodieMoto  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      if you're going to be spending alot like 15 or more minutes at 55+ its going to be rough. The bike is revved up really high at those speeds, you would need to switch to street tires and mod it up to make it work for you.
      Even then honestly you will be better off with something with more power and bigger windshield to protect from the wind. This bike can cruise at 60mph but I wouldn't want to do it everyday, I'd get something a little more highway friendly

    • @aidenjacquet6660

      Hey thank you for answering, so when you say “mod it up” can i make it work? or am i better off not doing it?

      as an owner of a tbr7 (borderline same bike), its manageable. my girlfriend is 5'6 and she can do it, your only issue will be planting your feet flat on the ground at stoplights
