    So nice to see some Delkevic videos, I installed some of your exhaust systems in my friend's bike as late models GoldWings, VFR-800 VTEC and I have one full system myself to install on my Honda Valkyrie. I like the support you guys provide, the fair price strategy by selling straight from the factory, and of course the quality of your products! Keep up the great work and I'll keep recommending it to everyone! 💯

    Hi
    My current bike is a Boulevard C50T (2010) the original exhaust has two oxygen senses one in the front pipe and one in the back pipe. Does your after market pipe/s accommodate these senses?
    Cheers Brian H

      Hi yes, where there are bosses/mounts for O2 sensors in the original, these are replicated on our replacement systems :)

    Hi,at the moment I have straight through pipes on my Yamaha 535 due to the original’s rotting away.Unfortunately these are very loud,I was wondering if your exhaust system would be closely like the original due to it having removable baffles in and obviously pass an MOT ok

    • @DelkevicExhausts
      @DelkevicExhausts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Our exhausts are louder than stock, even with the baffles in.

  • @Rangatron01
    @Rangatron01 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Can you replace the baffle with a better baffle that makes it more quiet? More specifically for a VN900 slash cut 16"

    • @DelkevicExhausts
      @DelkevicExhausts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi, we are currently developing an additional baffle that is a little quiter than the current included one that will eventually be available to purchase.

    I have a Honda Valkryie is it possible to add some length to your pipes I like the sound but wish the pipe made it to the back of my hard bags instead of underneath about half way with the 21 inch pipe.. Can you custom make a set that reaches the end of the bags?

    Hi, i have one of your custom bullnoses on my vulcan. Is there a quieter baffle than the stock one that comes with it?

    • @DelkevicExhausts
      @DelkevicExhausts  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Generally, the baffle that comes with it is the quietest one.

    Nice Vibe! I own a Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and want to baffel my sound a bit ;) so can i just grab the "DELKEVIC BAFFLE FOR CUSTOM SILENCER 550-80 TURNED SLASH CUT 79,99" or do i need the whole system? And do you sell it in black? Cheers!

    • @DelkevicExhausts
      @DelkevicExhausts  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm pretty sure you need to order the whole system, if you didn't we would offer a silencer only option. We offer Black silencers, but not those downpipes in Black however since we do our coating in house, it is conceivable we could do one for you but there would be a long lead time involved, sorry.

    Hi guys, own a few Delkevic exhaust for my bikes, recently one of the bull nose cartridges on my VN900 fell off, stolen or removed from my bike. Would there be any chance I could buy two spare cartridges? my VN900s exhaust is less than two years old.

    I do wonder if it's much more difficult putting the baffle back in if you take it out and find it too loud? 😅 Ohwell I guess I'll find out

    • @DelkevicExhausts
      @DelkevicExhausts  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi, the whole thing assembles on a tight almost interference fit, as you can imagine it should but if you take your time and don't rush and are careful you will be fine. If you're not planning on doing it more than a couple of times then even if you take twice as long to do it it's not a great amount of time in the grand scheme of things. My advice would be to just take it easy and take it steady, don't force anything and use plenty of silicone. You'll be fine if you do that. thanks for getting in touch :)

    • @DelkevicExhausts

      Hi, these custom/classic exhausts are not designed to be repacked. We have not had anyone requiring them to be repacked yet. Thanks for getting in touch, please call the office if you need any more detailed information :)

    Hi so I wanting to know why do ur exhaust, not need rejeting ect ?

    • @DelkevicExhausts
      @DelkevicExhausts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Because we test them on standard, stock bikes. They do not alter the air flow so much that the ECU/fuelling cannot adjust to cope and also manufacturers design in a little margin to ensure they comply with emissions. Changing the exhaust allows you to extract the extra performance by exploiting that margin by means of better cylinder scavenging and a full fresh fuel/air charge in the cylinder.

    Does removing the silencer affect back pressure?

    • @DelkevicExhausts
      @DelkevicExhausts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      'Back pressure' is a common misconception, essentially there is no such thing as most people understand it. Are you asking if removing the BAFFLE affects the gas flow and/or velocity? Yes, of course it will because it is a physical barrier. In terms of how restrictive the exhaust is with the baffle installed, it is less restrictive than the OE set up, but more restrictive than having no baffle at all and this is reflected in the noise levels too.

      @@DelkevicExhausts Finally someone helping to make it clear! F1 car uses their exhaust (at least on the naturally aspirated engines) on the highest vacuum area possible of the car. The only engine you may need a very specific "back pressure" sound wave would be on the 2 stroke engines if I'm not wrong. 🤝
