I love the thumpers, everything is so easy to work on compared to 30 mins just pulling off fairings from multi cylinder road bikes. Great vids, it’s akin to being with a friend and getting stuff done. 👍
This is a really good video for installing an exhaust. I used it for my Yoshimura RS2 install, since the process is very similar. The one thing I would add to this in my case is the there is not enough space on the head holt to use an allen socket. To get it aligned, you will have to use a regular allen key that is long enough. Moving the clamp on the other side is a must and super easy.

I’ve owned some pretty loud bikes but I bought that kit and I can genuinely say it’s loud loud, will drown most other bikes with some obvious exceptions 😅(ie trapped out 450s, screaming 2 strokes that’s about it)
Had an xt250 with the same exhaust and the bike sounded amazing just didn’t go anywhere when you went wide open. I just bought a drz so I’m excited for the sound again but this time to actually have speed to match the sound😂

Off the bat the build quality looks a lot better than Yoshimura. They didn’t include a new gasket or sealant. I was pretty disappointed how bad their instructions were too.

That exhaust looks so much better but I want a quiet bike so I have to keep stock unfortunately. Just a heads up, those passenger pegs weight a good 2 lbs just dead weight for most people. Your videography have definitely improved since this one btw.
Just put the same pipe on, have gold ash levers, have the led, have the gold handlebar bracket, have the same brake cables but gold. I have commented on a couple videos and I really appreciate your guidance. I am wanting to know if I can run the exhaust and 3by3 without the jd jet kit until it arrives. It won’t be here till Monday and I drive it to work so the ole lady can have the car for the kids. Delkavic says you do not need to rejet with any of there exhausts on there website. Will it hurt the bike at all? I’d say 20 miles a day until Monday.
Nope. Won’t hurt it. It’ll be a little lean. But no harm will be done. People slap on these exhaust and never rejet for thousands of miles. You’ll be good. The internal diameter of this system is barely bigger than stock. The Barkers system however, is wayy bigger. And thanks for the kind words man. Here to help!

Tried putting mine on today but it seems like the mounts for the stock heat shield are too close together and I can’t see any obvious way to get more play or space between? Did you or anyone else have these issues? What am I doing wrong lol

If you add a pipe I would recommend a jet kit. But you already have one. And your OEM blinkers might be in danger ⚠️! Lol. TST industries has a good fender eliminator kit. I have a video of that, and all if there modification installs on the channel. Thanks for watching!
Have seen others recommend wiping the pipes down with mineral spirits or similar degreaser to avoid oil from hand/finger prints from burning into the new SS, any issues ?

Question your headlight looks brighter than my friends how did you get that brightness and color??? Also noticed the smaller front piece above the front tire where'd you get that and do they make it in white?
Hell yea man. I used to get a ton of messages asking me if I had enough flags. I would say “nope. I’ve got more now!” And I do. The place is full of them. This was a while back. Got a different exhaust system now. If you’re interested, search the channel. Or I can send you the link. This system was in for me in the beginning. But I upgraded. Jet it. Or else it won’t perform great. And knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t even buy this exhaust. I cheaped out. And bought a budget system. Only to redo it with a quality system. Wish I would have just “buy once, and cried once”
Since I did it it’s been raining. I’ve only ridden it about 15 miles or so. With the baffle out, it’s pretty damn loud. Not as bad with the baffle in. I’d say the quality was above what I expected. And I’m pretty picky. Thanks for watching I appreciate it!

I pretty much did it all at the same time. But the bike was pretty lean after the exhaust and no jetting. Lots of popping on deceleration.

I’d recommend alcohol. But I’ve had no issues.

Holding up great after over 4K miles. And I believe the ID was larger
Does you get crazy backfiring with this exhaust on down shift, or letting off of throttle?
A little. Removed PAIR valve. Helped tremendously.
