- Many of you asked what my FFB settings are in BeamNG, and because my last video ( • Best Force Feedback Se... ) on this topic is already a bit outdated, here is a remake! I hope this helped you!

you should set the 1:1 to faster if needed cuz if you use normal it wont let you use the full steering of some cars
it will use the full steering, just in first person it's set to how much you steer your wheel
used to rumble at low speeds and found this game to be a bit annoying and clunky at times. got your setting in and now the game feels brand new. thanks

This didn't work for me. My car(no matter which) always spins out on me no matter how much I feather the throttle or how I try and oversteer. It doesn't even look like it's able to over correct and doesn't seem right.
I can drift in AC and rally so I understand the technique. Just can't seem to control the car at all. Once it breaks it breaks.
i copied your setting but after hitting apply my steering is really really loose, it wont steer properly and it will make random jerking motion and while parked or moving it will just start turning, and even after it turns all the way it starts banging trying to turn more. idk what i did.
Sounds like the FFB is inverted. Try unchecking the ‘Inverted’ box in the settings or check if it’s not inverted yet.
is the way to switch off forcefeedback from suspension , I dont mind it in games lice dirt rally but in beamng I will to have it switched off
I use a thrustmaster t300 this setting did nothing besides sound my wheel from left to right on its own
i dont have the side accel and soft lock stuff. Why?
When i try to fully lock the 1080 steering setting on my t300 the motor just forces it back to 2.3% from reaching full lock

How to i make the response curve back to default? I used lut files and now its messed up and can't get it to reset.
Maybe try resetting all FFB settings to factory settings, although you’ll lose everything you’ve changed.
@@SkyFall4839 there is no button to reset ffb settings, there only is to reset all controls , would that work?
@@MartZilka oh I’m sorry that I’m wrong. I don’t think that resetting the controls will reset the FFB settings, since that are two completely different things. I can try it tho! :)
go find the imputmaps folder delete any config files that have g920 ffb numbers or whatnot
I like how the old "settings" demonstration just had the car spin from too much power.
With the new settings you can feel much better how far to press in the throttle, without spinning out.
What’s the map you’re using
which wheel do u have? i got the g923 and i cannot find any smooth ffb settings. i find it hard to drift in beamng cause my wheel goes crazy, instead of smoothly counter steering it goes one way then quickly the other, then it goes the correct way again and quickly the other, and it does that all the time. Ive tried multiple peoples drift fbb settings and none work fine for me
At the moment I’m using a G29, but I’ll buy a Fanatec CSL DD when it’s in stock again.
Do you have GHub installed? That may solves your problem

@@SkyFall4839 it happens sometimes in assetto corsa but its not nearly as bad and frequent as in beamng
Do you use any of the driving assistants? Still can't figure out how it helps or what the right settings are for the over/understeer assistant.
Under/oversteer assistant are made for controller or keyboard players. If you are on a wheel, I wouldn’t turn them on.
is the g29 and g920 the same settings? some of the opitions are missing for me

the problem is this setting creates that bad clank and thud on the logitech g29 which is extremely jarring and annoying.
basically all thie video does is tells you to adjust the ffb strength and smoothness to how you like it. istg these videos so useless since all cars feel differently on the wheel
There isn’t the best setting for everyone. I just showed the settings I like and recommended. If this wasn’t helpful for you I’m sorry.
I think it's a joke digging at all the 'best settings videos'. They claim to have the best settings but only list one lot of settings as if they are perfect for every wheelbase. The joke is that there are no 'best settings' because everyone has different hardware and preferences.

@@sirdavus1458 if you’re using a G29 or other Logitech wheel I’d recommend tweaking around settings in GHub! Maybe find another tutorial

I used the drift configuration of the Gavril Bluebuck, it’s available in the game :)

i dont see the soft lock and side accel setting on my wheel (logitech driving force gt)
Do you have the current version of BeamNG?
Personally I use the Logitech G923 and these are my settings:
-From Logitech G Hub:
Centering Spring Strength - 100%
Clutch Sensitivity - 100%
Brake Sensitivity - 0%
-From Gameplay (You can find it inside options):
Oversteer reduction assistant - 50% - 55% - 60%
Understeer reduction assistant - 70% - 75%
-From FFB settings:
Strength - 650
Smoothing - 65%
Inverted - Yes
And the rest on FFB config are high (Side Axle and Soft Lock)
NOTE: I might do some more tests and change. If these settings don't work for you, then adjust them yourself!
EDIT: You might want to use the car shown in the video. You should modify it.

You mean when applying too much throttle and the vehicle starts to wheelspin? Or even at the slightest application of throttle.

You mean that the in game wheel doesn’t really turn?
if you mean the steering wheel, then no, its perfectly synced. the car wheels dont really turn.
FFB doesn't work for me for some reason i tried doing what you said but it won't work. (im on logitech G920 wheel)

Sometimes my wheel just doesn’t work
So i use a t150, and get major vibration and jiggles when steering or high speed, but when drifting and turning more then 90 degrees either way the wheel smooths out
I have the same wheel ( pro version ) and do you still think that his settings are good for learning how to drift?
@fireman5673 yes and no, what you want for a t150 from what I've learned is something that will still somewhat react, not be overly heavy, and be able to feed the wheel (force the wheel to catch the drift) as the stock motor on a t150 aren't that good for drifting, so transitions can be a mess if your driving a very reactive car. But I'd say they are good, but mess around with it from these settings and get your own feel

@luchsegamer8112 on beanmg my strength is 350, 29 percent steering lock strength and 210 smoothing and auto secondary smoothing. In the firmware of my t150 overall forces 100, constant 100, periodic 100, spring 0, damper 0, BOOST off, and auto center by the game.

Idk wtaf is wrong with my game, my G29 works just fine on everything else but for whatever reason if my wheel isn’t dead center 0° it turns to full lock one direction by itself
Try to invert FFB in the settings if you haven’t already, but if that still doesn’t work reinstall GHub.
most likely because ghub kind of sucks, reinstalling/troubleshooting or getting a different wheel for the same value would be a lot better
i still spin out in 2 seconds i tried 29million cars and other settings💀

No, this settings are for wheel users only. For keyboard players I recommend activating the oversteer assistant!

What do you mean exactly? Yes a wheel with FFB spins by itself if FFB is activated, also in BeamNG

This tutorial should work for most wheel bases, it might require some adjustments though.

Yeah, it should work for most wheels. You might have to tweak some values though.

how do i turn off ffb completely ingame? doing it in logitech hub works but when im back in the game its on again
In options>controls>force feedback you should find a checkbox “enabled”. Uncheck it and FFB should be turned off, why would you want to do though?
