  • Sadly, I was able to do most of this from memory. In case anyone is wondering, the Browns started 30 quarterbacks during their first 50 seasons (1946-1995)

    Fantastic video! Thank you for putting this together. I understand that most of these QBs were in the mediocre-awful range, but this was all positive nostalgia lol

      Thank you for watching! Positive was the intent... if we're gonna relive the Browns' QB crisis of the last couple decades, might as well look at the good times

    It must've taken a very long time to find touchdown passes from all 30 Qb's

    Its more than the QB. With the browns. The true trouble is the browns its self.😊😅😂

    If Timmay was on the 2022 team, they'd be a SB contender

    What I should show is how many qb's we passed on that became good qb's

    Case Keenum, nick mullens, jacoby Brissett, and soon to be deshaun watson have all made a start for the browns since this video came out

    Tim Couch hailmary pass to beat the Saints should have been in here. Great idea for a video, but at least half these QB's I can name better plays they had.

    I forgot how good Kevin Johnson was for the browns in the late 90s early 2000s I guess you forget because he played for the browns and they were at best mediocre at the time probably still are today

      Ooof... If I remember right, Campbell played ok but they went like 1-6 with him starting. Not sure if I'd put him that high on my list. Maybe if they hadn't fallen apart in that game against the Patriots, he'd be remembered as the guy who beat Tom Brady in his own house.

    This averages out to be 14 seconds of highlights per Quarterback.... that’s really damn sad.

    Stop perpetuating the negativity and lies spewed by the sports media just to make it seem worse than it actually was. There never was “29 STARTING QBs”. Not unless you define “starting” as those QBs who simply filled in for a game or two ONLY because of injuries to the actual STARTING QB. In the world of truth and reality, a team designates a STARTING QB as a player who has been selected to be the long term starter over all other players based on performance and/or expectations. Not a player who simply fills in for a game or more because the designated STARTING QB was injured and would resume STARTING once the injury is overcome.

  • @besharponeful
    @besharponeful ปีที่แล้ว +1

    LOL/SMHID…the more QBs you throw in there, the worse the Browns look, right? This is obviously your aim and that of the usual Media Megaphones. What is your definition of a “starting Quarterback”. This is just an exercise in nonsense. Very many of those “starting QBs” were simply fill-ins for the actual starting QB due to injuries. Like starting the last game of a season because of that injury. Another fact is, the team lost 3 QBs in successive games and ended up playing with a 4th string QB. So, were all those QBs actually planned, expected long term “starting QBs. Heck, you can go through the entire NFL and find teams who have many “starting QBs” if this is how you are want define them. Just stop with the lame and inaccurate claim.

    Ken Dorsey was so bad with the Browns the highlight you showed was an interception, every almost every QB had a TD pass or a long pass.

    • @josephhecht6331
      @josephhecht6331  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah... At the time I made the video, I was trying to be optimistic and show the few GOOD moments the quarterbacks had through the years. I just could not find one for Ken Dorsey. Frankly, most of them deserved to have interceptions shown instead of touchdowns.
      Fun fact: Dorsey was Derek Anderson's QBs coach in Carolina for a few years after they both left the Browns.

      @@josephhecht6331 I know I'm late, but surprised there was a highlight for Bruce Gradkowski despite how bad he played in his only start.

      How so? I tried to do it in order of when each quarterback had his first start with the Browns. The highlights may not be in order.
