  • Hi people, as it's my 75th video, I have decided to show what most people believe to be the most artistic chess game ever played. Lev Polugaevsky would say of the match, "I have beaten Rashid Nezhmetdinov lots of times, but I would trade them all for this one ."After the tournament, a painting was commissioned and called The Board of Destiny to celebrate the game for which Rashid Nezhmetdinov
won, he also won the tournament .
so we go back sixty-six years to 1958 in the black sea city of Sochi in Russia for the 18th RSFSR chess Championship tournament, and this was the first game played.
so the next time you're having a bad day at it, it seems everything is going wrong. Stop and play this game it's bound to put a bit of a smile on your face .Enjoy this work of chess art .
If your interest has been sparked in Rashid Nezhmetdinov, there is a set of three videos about his life on Utube. Search for Jessica Fischer .
