On its first flight, I climbed mine up on zero throttle and it did a snap roll. I recovered within 10 feet from the ground and brought it in for a nice maiden landing.
I love mine, it's stock outside of me removing that black box and cutting out the battery bay for larger batteries. On my Liperior 4000mah 30c packs, I get 5 minutes flight mix flying with lots of full throttle and usually land eith 30+ % pack left. Mine hits 111 mph with a 4000mah battery. Very nice bird indeed.
I can only wish for one plane this christmas. I have flown some jets, but still want one with easy mode. Would also be Nice with some flaps, fast takeoff and landing, and buttery landing gear. My budget is 3-400 dollars. What should i get? Also like prop planes
The Maule is great, the PA-18 I’m currently reviewing seems to be a nice unit as well with the big wings and flaps.. just remember no matter what.. if you purchase from fms always use discount code: ReferralGarageRC .. saves you 10%.
@@Jays_rcgarageThanks a lot! Might be saving up for the maule! Its a little sad with the taxes that can get up to 200 dollars to ship planes to Norway:(
@@Jays_rcgarageI have a couple of parks around me I wanna fly at with big open empty fields not too much foot traffic . Tried the local clubs but i pm not interested in flying regulated circles so Ama sign up is some g advice
I fully agree. This is my favorite plane, period. The better gear on the FMS, the power, the color and the flight envelope!
3:48 The lady is right ! You are inverted, not vertical. LISTEN TO HER 🙃
I can whole-heartedly agree that this is by far if not the, one of the best 70mm EDF jets I have ever had the pleasure of flying. 10/10 on Yelp 😂

With drop tanks, it has a manageable top speed between 70 and 80 mph. Without, I've had it up to 100 mph.
I see a dog and I immediately hit like
I use a 2700 6S for the best results. The 3300 makes it land quite heavy. I can get up to 5 minutes on either battery.
im thinling on getting one thanks for the vid!
I just got into SMC packs. Very nice!

111mph!!!! Wild !
What’s the largest battery so far you’ve tried?
@tonyyimbo 4000 6s, but I'm sure I can fit a 4500 . I know some guys are running 8s in them. I can't remember the MAH size, though.
NICE Flying!! Very Smooth👍👍👍

Do you need to build it or is it in one piece?
its a 30 min assembly max, even if you had one hand i think you will be able to build it
Hi i have a question @Jay Kujan does a beginner like me need a licence to fly the fms ranger 1220mm?
Nope, highly recommend signing up with the AMA. Takes 3 min.. is cheap and than you are covered under their insurance
