@@PenelopePitstop-u1s Go for it, the description explained that free tickets weren't included in the total. It had to be upped to allow for them.
@@PenelopePitstop-u1sawesome, can’t wait
It’s a charity raffle and it’s explained in the description that free tickets do not count towards the total. Go ahead and report it. Pathetic
@@PenelopePitstop-u1s PS, let me know your order number and I’ll refund it. I don’t want you a part of the competition
@@PenelopePitstop-u1s I don’t care what you’re saying… you’re nobody. Send me your order details (I doubt you even entered) and I’ll remove your bitter money from the pot 😊
James is like me.
I had a garage and bodyshop for years and sold cars as an extra income. Got sick of the warranty claims and trying to source vans and cars from auctions was a minefield. I did it all on my own except the prep work and it made money for a few years but the last batch cost me £9k over four vans and I gave up the fight
i am with james on this one, less stress no staff = happy life
Another video!? You’re spoiling us Joe! Thanks
That 'posh' place you showed would put me off with it's over the top pretentious 'bling'....pool table, bar etc etc....He's just rubbing the punters nose in how much profit he is making out of those daft enough to buy from him. I prefer you guys....down to earth and honest.
I take my hat off to James doing everything on his own👍🏻
He has two glasses Pete😂
There’s a dealer near me who has a crazy list of cars on their website They have everything from Lambo’s, r8’s, g wagons etc to cheap run around 😅 we bought my wife’s for galaxy from them. We saw it advertised on auto trader so went to take a look and when we pulled up we thought we had gone to the wrong place because all the super cars and high end stuff was parked out front and all the every day stuff was further back. Very odd 😅
What is the dealers name please?
I think I’m right in saying when a customer buys a car “sight unseen” and has it delivered by a dealership to their house they have 14 days to return it and they don’t even need a valid reason as such. Not like rejecting a car where there needs to be grounds for rejection. There could literally be nothing wrong with the car but if it doesn’t suit the buyer for whatever reason (eg the boot looked bigger in the photos) then as long as they get in touch within 14 days of receipt they can get a full refund.
As I say I could be wrong here but I’ve heard/read this several times in the past
I bought my q7 from rs car sales last year fantastic service
James has a great setup and could easily do finance but think he shouldn't especially with a few of Joe's experiences with the finance company
When I used to work for an independent prestige we used to run out of an old farm unit with a glass workshop next door and a load of mud as a car park and we were selling Bentleys, astons and all sorts 😂
DJ Ghotti and Joe are right, doesn't matter where you are to sell higher priced cars, all consumers want is a good deal, and the car to be prepared to a high standard. ♥ James needs a bigger space, and a part-time employee to help with the car valeting
Really interesting conversation, great how your helping eachother out.
I bought my Mercedes A35 from a presteige garage and they operated out of a no thrills warehouse. They had all sorts of presteige cars for sale and did really well.
Always do whatever kind of valet & prep work is required when the car comes in & then when it sells it just gets a re-clean unless someone requests different
I agree, you don't need fancy premises, I work out of a dusty barn from home 😂
Pete
Turnbridge Autos Ltd
Ps, call in the next time you're at G3.... always welcome
More pod casts like this please, very entertaining
Has McCauley gone to work for James, watch this space 😂
I remember seeing Joe using a drill attachment for cleaning car matts? Anyone know what brand it was please!!!
Have you seen the one in Keighley West Yorkshire and it’s an old car park ! They sell really high value from a multi story!
Motorhub! Very interesting place..
Really enjoyed that Joe
Great video chaps
Anyone who has entered the rs5 comp like I have, am I correct in thinking the max ticket sales was set at 7000? Its now showing as 9000 so if they sell the odds will be quite a bit worse than previously stated
Because we’ve given out lots of free tickets, it is explained in the item description that free tickets don’t count towards the total. But count your lucky stars, I’m still drawing the car even though the minimum SOLD tickets haven’t been reached
@@ShiftingMetal ok fair enough, I’m not trying to be a arse I was trying to ask if anyone else had noticed it as I wasn’t sure if I was correct, not sure why I should count my lucky stars
If the car is right and the price and aftersales are right that will do for me as a buyer.
ATP cars, sell some very nice cars from a unit, that includes Mclaren's, Porsche and Nissan GTRs, (they also sell normal cars as well to have the best of both worlds like Joe is trying to do).
ATP have a mezzanine floor with a nice office and customer area, it's no bigger than Chops 2 units, they are on a small industrial estate.
They have no issue selling stuff including the high end stuff as the cars are very nice and they are decent people to deal with (honouring promises 12 months after cars have been purchased) which is more important than a fancy glass fronted showroom in my opinion.
It doesn’t matter if you’re selling a decent car or not it’s the deal you do and if you seem trustworthy. I’m sick of being ripped apart by main dealers they want your car for fuck all then want to bust your piles on the sale of the new car. Just don’t take the piss you will sell like fuck
Great video
Very nice!
Rory, rs car sales….dodgy as fook
Yeah fancy cars and website, but go to him with a problem and he doesn’t want to know…..
One of the worst experiences of my life….he’s 5mins up the road and I wouldn’t buy anything off him ever again.
A good reputation sales car's.
A trade centre just won't work, unfortunately your stuck with the general public.

no you need the head talking to a salesman for 40 years plus i tell you that its something in my blood , from tv to cars i sold them all , i hate it now just lying here with nothing to do after a brain heammorrage , but tell me if you need any cars or wheels refurbishing which my son is into and opening his own garage , (he worked for bmw sytner and vw ).
