I’m glad to hear the video store is busy. Establishments such as yours take me right back to the 90s 😊
Really enjoyed Miracle mile , I think if you treat it like science fiction thriller its great fun , I will bring it back today for my fellow customer 📼
Feels like we've been getting a Kinji Fukasaku film from one of the boutique labels every month - very welcome indeed.
Fantastic releases. I watched Stir Crazy for the first time this weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed it, so might pickup the Indicator set as I do like their releases.
Juggernaut - perfect film to watch whilst wearing a nice chunky knitted jumper. Perfect double bill with Fffolkes/North Sea Hijack.
@@danielturner8740 ah ha... Sounds like a double bill!
"in a row" Clerks 😄
Long time no comment, JUGGERNAUT is a absolute hoot. 70's disaster movie classic. However, it was impossible to find on DVD because... when it came out on DVD, it was bizarrely retitled as "Terror On The Britannic'.
Which was an english translation of the name it was released under in Belgium and nowhere else in the world. No wonder it was difficult to find. Delighted to see it get a BR release.
@@mrgrahamreed Cool. Looking forward to it.
I was listening to an audiobook of a Richard Stark Parker novel (which are all great, if you haven't read any - the basis for Point Blank and The Outfit amongst others) and the voice was so familiar but I couldn't place it. Had to check. Robert Davi. Did a great job, to be fair.
Battles Without Honour and Humanity is certainly worth seeking out, but my go-to Yakuza thriller is Massacre Gun, also available from Arrow.
Radiance never disappoints especially their three disc box sets the World Noir volumes really need to be watched by fans of the genre especially if they're only familiar with the Hollywood films IMO I think I prefer the foreign ones. Also I've been going through the Jean-Pierre Mockys The Agitator box set, I'm very impressed so far, I've just got Agent Trouble to watch the other two films are bat shit crazy 😂
@@jamesseamge9216 Interesting. Spotted those in the sale today and was hesitant.
@@snipsmovies I definitely recommend them 👍
Another cracking episode....any chance of you doing your top 5 Christmas (ish) films sometime in December?
@@thejudgemuffin Good shout
The Battles Without Honor and Humanity boxset is essential. They're bloody brilliant films.
@@thetrooper2 Sweet. On the list! Thanks!!
Keith?
@@m62films-upthenorth Shhhh!
