I really enjoyed The Beekeeper, fantastic cast and a fun story, and really great action! Interesting seeing all those German blurays! Nice Criterion pickups!
I'm glad you found my tip about the "Come and See" bluray useful. It's such an essential piece of cinema.
The American Criterion bluray "Andrei Rublev" can be played in the UK too. It comes with two different versions of the film! One of my favourite films in my collection.
@@Nathan_Smith_Filmmaker Ah!! Amazing. Thanks again Nathan
Watched one of the latest Asylum film Monster Mash which has the classic universal monsters going against Dr Frankenstien. Pretty entertaining and directed by Jose Prendes who according to IMDB will be directing the next Puppet Master film.
@@jonafish75 Ah! Interesting. I'll have to keep an eye out for that!
Hey Dave. Does your Robert Davi story involve drugs, wild women, does he owe you a Tenner? Do tell. As an Aussie I was happy with the recent Imprint version of Blair Witch which also came with Book of Shadows the sequel. It’s an older print sure.. but HD.. good enough for me.
@@filmwolf4078 A tenner? No, it's at least fifteen quid
I've had issues with Rarewaves - ordered a blu-ray, they sent me a dvd (same film), I sent it back, waiting for the blu-ray: no blu-ray, no refund. Multiple emails sent: nothing. They had processed it, somehow. Never again, despite their many appetising sales.
@@wecanrebuildhimblog Damn, that's really not good. Tbh, although I got everything in the end, I'd rather pay a little more for peace of mind.
Ive been tempted to buy the Louis Feuillade Masters Of Cinema set, it looks a pretty impressive package 9 discs and with a 27hr watch time not sure about the £90 price tag though.
I’ve got Cocoon on German Blu-Ray it’s near impossible to get a US or UK copy and one you can’t stream anywhere apparently it’s been pretty much erased from existence.
@@jamesseamge9216 Bizarre isn't it? So frustrating.
My comment every week keeps getting deleted, not sure why but I'll say it one more time before I give up completely. I'd just like to say a HUGE thank you for bringing my attention to the upcoming Blu release of Cannibal the Musical, one of my all time favourites, I imported the anniversary DVD only for my multi region player to blow up the day the DVD arrived in the post so I haven't watched it in many years since the VHS days so super excited to have the Refuse Films release later this year, what a Christmas present for myself!
@@antmumford Hey Ant, that's weird!! I did you'd been a little quiet recently. Wonder what could be causing that? Anyhoo, my pleasure. Liam has had it rough with VS also releasing that title, so I hope loads of people hold off buying from them and instead get it from Refuse Films.
Can we hear the Robert Davi story? ✌️
@@terryuller2479 Ha!! Maybe! I'll dig it out
