My introduction to Mamet - and one I'm absolutely gobsmacked isn't more popular - is Heist. VERY quotable, stupendous cast, and as far as I can tell has just disappeared. Also, nice to see The Machine Girl get a nod! :D
When I worked at the videostore in 95, I had a lot of customers who didn't read the summaries on the box. It was frustrating to flip the box and have a reading lesson
Red Sun absolutely blew my mind when I saw it on TV as a litte kid. A Western with a samurai in it? It seemed so obvious yet absolute genius. I knew Delon from Borsalino and Andress from DR No so it just seemed packed with stars. I've been afraid to rewatch it, fearing it won't live up to that memory... Gotta get that blu-ray. (Great episode as usual!)
I got my Severin package on Tuesday, I genuinely didn't think it would be sent before the 11th but the wait time is a joke. Once dispatched took 5 days to the UK.
herbie hancock, Teenage Fanclub, Superchunk... always curious about the music. I remember in the 80's I had no access to music at the very point where my brain was ravenous for new music. my local video shop stocked a few music / concert VHS tapes and I used to rent them out endlessly. Hence my love of AC/DC and Zeppelin (Song remains the same) and other bands given that that was how i was inroduced to them, amongst others. Do you ever stock Music releases on DVD / Blu-Ray to rent, or for your own viewing at home? (Being in birmingham im not likely to rent them though!)
@@mrgrahamreed Primarily music themed documentaries in all honesty Graham. I got the recent David Byrne documentary, to add to other docs on Scott Walker, George Harrison etc. Concert footage - aside from The Band - less so

I understand what it is like (dog hair). Although of course, I am a wolf.
Very nice amount of new arrivals this week.

Yeah, I'm usually really forgiving. I can accept delay and issues for most things, but nine weeks is really excessive and needs to be addressed.
One thing I learned being self employed is you’ll never please everyone, have you thought of installing a drop box ?
