Hello Ms Nelson, I have read that eventhough dimethicone makes the skin product to have a slick feel and feels good on the skin and help retain the skin moisture, it is at the same time very detrimental to the environment. Reason is that it doesn't get absorbed by the skin but it's shed on the drain when you shower, and over time is accumulating in the river and ocean and affecting the marine life. I don't mean nothing to be mean by saying this, but I know you care a lot and are proud of the product that you make.
Fabuloso looking labels and you have that pink shade just puuuurrrrfect!!! I was imagining just lathering loads of that butter on me before it cools down lol. Just delish looking 🥰🥰🥰
Ps: it would be so amazing if you could share an olivem 2000 recipe! I tried many times to replace the emulsifying wax nf with it and the texture was just never right. Either runny like melted ice cream or waxy thick. I personally have no knowledge about formulating new recipes - my joy lays more in the making of those beautiful creams for my family ! Thank you so much for your consideration!
I just made your triple body butter and I am very curious to try this one because of the high amount of glycerin! I personally don’t use dimethicone - would you increase any other ingredient so we have 100% or is the amount so minimal that it doesn’t really matter!? You mentioned sorbitol for slip in the other video … would you use the same % of sorbitol here as you would use of the dimethicone?
Oh I can’t remember as it’s an older video but if you add up the ingredients then subtract the total it should give you the answer . It’s poverty 10% of the recipe
how much shea butter did you use. What can you use if you don't have that type of blender to mix. how long do you need tit to cool down for before adding the other ingredients
hi lovely. sorry ive just woken up as its 8am in Australia. its 8 grams but you can play around with the oils to get the consistancy. using the liquid coconut oil will allow you to get a silky glossy sort of oil

Sure thing . I have used it but i feel it works better in collaboration with nf
How much shea?? and also wondering if temps matters once melted before blending? Thank you for sharing and your great videos!
Temp does not matter in blending but the oils and water should be a similar temp first. So sorry I cannot remember how much shea in this recipe
Hi, love your recipe...you didn't mention the amount of Shea Butter. Thank you!
Oh no sorry. I don’t remember but dont worry as i have a few body butter ones
She mentioned 16g shea in an older comment
Excellent tutorial. How many days would the body butter need to take on its true form. I would like to try this recipe.
About 3 days. But after 30 hours its pretty much the right form
Hey, what app did you use to make the labels? They are beautiful
I design almost everything in canva
Hello from the US! Very nice video. Where do you purchase the lovely jars?
The jars come in white from a company called heirloom bodycare then i create my own labels

Yes you can swap them but of course its a testing game
Hi Rhonda, can emulsifying wax be substituted for BTMS 50? If so would it be the same used please?
You can use it but like always some testing is needed. You can also use just one wax but each one brings a different silkiness to the mix

What is the quantity of shea ? Thank you
16 grams lovely
thank you I will try !!@@NelsonInteriorSoapery
but is more then 200g if so with preservative and fragrance
Thank you for sharing! What is the shelf life?
Up to 6 months. Thats usual for this type of butter
Thank you 😊 Looks absolutely lush!
@@leonasolomon81 it does and it feels so nice. It glides in easily

Honestly you need one of these blenders. You can buy a cheap one for around $15
I let it cool to room temp before adding in others
I used 16grams and i feel thats a perfect mix
Does this recipe have to add to 100%?
No. If i was to send it to a lab then i would do that. You can figure out a percentage through calculations to get the 100%
What is the name of preservative and the name of silicone
Liquide germal plus preservitive but you can also use optiphen plus if you prefer. Also its dimethicone silicon
How much jojoba oil?
8 grams of jojoba oil
