Having gone through the devastation of a once in a lifetime flood affecting our new home i can fully empathise with you. Time is a good healer. I hope you have a job you enjoy, do what you can around it without burning out. You are a great teacher. Thank you
It was three years ago, luckily fully insured, 18month old took 18month to repair but all done pre covid and resettled in. We were lucky our insurer the main one here in Tasmania was brilliant. Mind when we have heavy storm rain i get worried. Hope your doing ok where you are
I am completely impressed with you, working those hours and still being able to do your side job, that motivates me being a full-time or as well. Thank you so much for your wonderful works and your wonderful sharing’s with us. God bless you.
Yay! I love watching your videos! And appreciate how you share your knowledge. So I hope your not offended when I share with you the way to pronounce xanthan gum is it sounds like a Z. So it should be spelt Zanthan gum.
Had to watch again, but I don't hear anyone mentioning tamper proof lids, that's a great idea! I haven't started selling yet but I'm still learning so much! Appreciate your videos and time! Thank you
Oh no! I’m so so sorry that the flood had this impact on you and taking you away from what your gift is……making and teaching us bath & body products. You are a treasure ❤
Was that xanthan gum?? Wanted to make sure as the pronunciation has me confused. Yes, setting the gums aside once they have had water added to them makes a very big difference in texture, viscosity & more. I sometimes will let my hydrated gums sit for several hours before I begin putting my formulation together. Once the formulation is all completely mixed together, allowing it to sit overnight at room temperature will clearly show a person the end texture & viscosity of their product. It also allows you to add slightly more of whatever you might want to before packaging, in case you wish to alter the feel / look of a product.
Does it soap a lot? I've read that emulsifier can cause a lot of soaping effect while rubbing in. I used ritamulse scg in a emulsified butter and love the soft feeling and little soaping.
Welcome back! I was so happy to see a new video! This body butter looks amazing! Could you use Poly 80 instead of Olvium 100? Thank you for sharing this! Your studio is looking fantastic! 💛💛💛
Thank you so much for your video. Loved it. Would you perhaps have another alternative for germall plus. I live in Namibia and i cant source it in South Africa
Hello Darling Thank you for share that wonderful recipe I made one batch but the end results do not have that glossy and shiny appearance y kind of doll. Usually lotions and creams are glossy, not in my case. What could go wrong? I had all the ingredients even the Olivien 1000 so I don’t know Thank you Rosy
@@BodyHavenSoaps hi Thank you for replying! It was milky but I think what happened is that I didn’t heat the water face Maybe that is not shiny or glossy Have a great weekend
I noticed you didn’t heat the water phase before you added it to the oil phase. I can only think that perhaps you DID heat it, but somehow that step didn’t make it into the video. Am I correct?
Hi thank you very much for sharing . your sincerity really come through in your videos. I have a question for you do you need to test the ph of this type of product

Curious why you didn't heat the water? or did you?
Had same question

I have not had an issue with it , ritamulse would work great in this

Can you use the same preservative, optiphen plus, that you used in your whipped bath soap? Thanks 22:34
Beautiful..
Thank you! 😊
What a luxurious recipe, thank you for sharing......do you mind if I ask where I can purchase the refined Hemp Seed Oil?
I have seen it at new directions and windy point
Ty for video, just love how you explained everything. Where can I buy the aluminum 1000, don’t know if I’m writing the rite way. Ty so much
It's olivem 1000 lotion crafter has it

Thank you for the lovely video, i have a question, can i substitute the water with milk? For example the goat milk?
I would not suggest milk or any food product in lotions of butter as you need specific process and preserves for this

I test every batch of my products for ph levels
