I love this body butter so much! Even my husband is enjoying it and asking for it, although he has never used any sort of lotion or cream before!! Thank you also for mentioning that the butter will separate until the optiphen is mixed in well. I almost tossed a double batch because of the separation, but luckily, I remembered last minute that you talked about that! I really appreciate you and all you share!!
Thank you so much for the information sharing your recipe, I believe what’s for you is for you and what’s for me Is for me blessings to you and your family ❤
Thank you for walking me through all this. I am learning and need Christmas gifts this year🎉. I will modify to my families needs but your vital to this❤
Hi Rhonda. I tried this body butter with minor changes and it is AWESOME so far. I'm waiting until tomorrow to try it. Thank you , Thank you and Thank you.
How lovely, it looks like satin. I can’t wait to make this for family gifts this Christmas. Can you please share with me where you purchased the containers you put the finished product in?
Thank you so much for the valuable lessons! I have no intention of starting a business, but am interested in making my own products. Happy I stumbled upon your video! I have much admiration for your work and knowledge!
I love watching all of your videos. Your accent is amazing! I’m using apricot and Aegean oil and had some ilks test it. THEY LOVED IT! I wanted to make it 3 times larger. I can multiply every ingredient my 3 right? Thanks so much for all you teach us. Arlisha from USA
Thank you so much for your videos and I have been brainstorming lately and I didn’t even know What circuit meant and you showed me that for labeling my items
I couldn’t agree more about using Grams for measuring product! I tried using ounces and nothing was consistent! Looks like a great recipe! I don’t have sorbitol, could I substitute by just adding more glycerin so I’m still getting the rich humectant properties in the emulsion?
Hello and Thank you for a great video! Once you have separated the batch into 130g to scent each differently, is the percentage of fragrance oil to add about 1 gram on a scale?
@@rosaelinav8036 today im about to make body butter as i have a day off from the show stall (ive been helping my daughters company) i promise to show my process and they will be on my site soon
With xanthum gum you need to add that to glycerin first or else it will clump up. Anytime you change a recipe means you need to start the recipe again as changes will effect the end result
Hello. I noticed this recipe has different ingredients listed than in the ones listed on your website to sell? Did you change your recipe and why? Does the one on website create a better product in your opinion? Did prices for products play a part in your decision? Or do you just make different recipes? Thank you!!
I change my recipe all the time. Also on you tube i often try to give recipes that people will Understand and can alter. You can change oils or other to suit your brand too
Nothing synthetic is comparable to the naturally derived. That includes ’fragrance oils’ - known to be neurotoxins. Can’t equate to pure Essential Oils - same as your premise for Vitamin E ; ) ; )
no its not because it is a water base lotion/body butter. the oil ones are ones that are 100% oils and butters. but i guess it also comes down to personal choice. i am formulating a new body/hand lotion that will be out hopefully in a month
Not to be rude but if you're making these body creams / butters/treatments and you use them yourself as well, then why do your arms look like that? I'm not trying to be rude I'm just speaking on what I observe and your arms are covered in freckles in age spots shouldn't your skin be beautiful clear and youthful with these products you're making and I assume using?
Are you serious. Im 52 years old and i live in an extremely hot country where skin cancer is our biggest health risk. Im not a beauty queen but a manufacturer of goods. For my age my skin is in amazing shape. And yes the comment is rude and judgemental
Well we usually find things that offend us rude even if it wasn't meant to be offensive just a legitimate question. I am just a couple of years younger than you and I live in a very hot (ridiculously hot for most of the year) place as well and my skin is smooth and clear because the anti-aging products that I use and take internally actually work. Plus I'm sure there's an element of DNA involved. I just wanted to know because the skin I see in the video doesn't look as if anything is being done to it
That’s an absolutely beautiful thick lotion, but it’s not a body butter. A body butter doesn’t have water in it. At all.. ut does look like a beautiful thick lotion it’s just not a body butter.
Thank you for the comment. Yes this is a gorgeous cream, lotion or so on . It’s the name I use for it and many so called body butters on the market contain water. It’s a way of getting the feel without the grease I guess
Thanks ma'am for the video. Please can i skip out the green tea extract and the sorbitol since i don't have that will i still get a good result? Thanks for your quick response.
Thank you for this excellent tutorial. I learned so much, and thank you for including this recipe! You are very kind and generous!

Hello and Thank you for a great video! Once you have separated the batch into 130g to scent each differently, is the percentage of fragrance oil to add about 1 gram on a scale?
It’s about 1% fragrance. You can add up to 3% but sticking to 1g is best.
Why do use the spatula instead of your hand blender? It looks like it would be really hard on your arm with a bigger batch. 😊
No it’s easy . I’m used to it and stick blending to much is not great once it’s thickened so much better to lighting add it in
I think we can all take it as read that everything is presanitised 😊🙏
Yes of course i sanitise it all as per expectation and requirements
@@NelsonInteriorSoapery That was my point ; ) ; ) ‘cos you kept mentioning all the way through 😊🙏
I have a question. How to get the butters mixed with the oils to have that ghee but smooth texture?
Thank you so much❤️
This all needs to be melted down first
Hi Rhonda, I know the water and oils have to be the same temperature, however, is there a range that they both have to be in? Many thanks Joni
Yes you want to keep it at around 60 degrees or lower
I’m sorry I forgot to ask you have you done this product, body butter in rose smell? Thank you🤍
Yes i have . I will be doing more body butters soon

Hi Rhonda. Is Green tea extract the same as the green tea tree extract that you use. if not can I use the green tea extract?
Yes its just the extract
Hi Rhonda. I don't have sorbitol or green tea, and I'm going to use xantham gum. Do I add 4gm more to distilled water?
With xanthum gum you need to add that to glycerin first or else it will clump up. Anytime you change a recipe means you need to start the recipe again as changes will effect the end result
Loved the video, question at what Temperature did you mixed both phases. Ty so much
Hi there. At around 60-65 degrees . Just make sure they are both within 10 degrees of each other

@@NelsonInteriorSoapery Thank you so much! I’m grateful for your knowledge and enjoy your videos very much. So many ideas in my head!!!!!
Can you whip this recipe to make it a whipped body butter?
No it wont work like that but give it a go after stick blending to see. Cant hurt
Where to buy the vitamin E? I buy the one that natural is that the same yours? How can I tell the difference? Thanks for helping me
Its ok.
I buy it from body care suppliers.
The name to look for to buy natural vitamin e is RRR-alpha-tocopherol
What is the use of sorbitol in this recipe? I have never used this. Seems similar to glycerin? Thank you
Could I just replace the sorbitol with more glycerin then?
Please what is the batch size of this production?
Im sorry i dont remember
Hi how much gliscerin did you add
I’m sorry I can’t remember but if you add the recipe you hopefully can see
Nothing synthetic is comparable to the naturally derived. That includes ’fragrance oils’ - known to be neurotoxins. Can’t equate to pure Essential Oils - same as your premise for Vitamin E ; ) ; )
Thats true
Please can i use aloe gel instead of the juice?
Yes you sure can.
where can you get SORBITOL to buy
Try heirloom body care or Aussie soap supplies
Do you have the percentages of what you used to change batch sizes?
Sorry i dont remember
Sorry if I missed it but are you wearing latex gloves or nitrile?
I think latex. Id have to look at the box
Hi, what percentage of the recipe is oil and what percentage is water
I think it’s 68% water
what's an alternative to sorbitol?
You can leave it out. But it helps with slip
@@NelsonInteriorSoapery yep ,undertand that, but is there another ingredient that is also a suitable substitute? Or would you use a glycerite instead?
@@teecee3143 you can use dimethicone. Its a silicon alternative
does it solidify? and does it melt?
As its a water/oil emulsion it does not melt but if in extreme heat anything may. It solidifies into a lovely mid texture cream
question is this greasy?
no its not because it is a water base lotion/body butter. the oil ones are ones that are 100% oils and butters. but i guess it also comes down to personal choice. i am formulating a new body/hand lotion that will be out hopefully in a month
