A Lot of Unexpected Finds in This Month’s Manga Haul

- Hey guys! It’s that time again for my monthly manga haul and this month I ended up picking up 116 volumes. If my last three manga hauls on the channel are any indication, I may have a problem… But I love collecting and reading manga. I got into a lot of new series this month and there were a few surprising restocks. I also picked up some manga on sale on Right Stuf and had two exciting manga hauls at Half Price Books that I can’t wait to show you guys!
I let you guys know in the video where I picked up the volumes that have been harder to find as of late in case you are in search of them as well. Also, stay tuned to the channel, because I’ll have another big manga haul coming in October thanks to the Kodansha and Vertical sale that Right Stuf ran last week.

Such an impressive collection! Wish Barnes and Nobles and HPB were in my country- I just picked up some reduced Pokemon Adventures Omnibuses, TPN 17 & 18 and Demon Slayer vol 14
Bummer that it's taking so long to get all of the Vagabond in English it seems. Even in Japanese it took a while for it all to come out here.
It has been a bit of time but happy that he is taking his time to make the series if that's what he needs to do! But I feel you, because it is an incredible series and I can't wait to read more.
Been even more difficult with manga constantly going out of stock lately, but some of the volumes finally just started shipping out!

Ah man, yeah I've been playing catch up. Definitely behind on a lot of series, so these last few have been a lot larger than usual for me! Plus it doesn't help that I'm afraid of stuff going out of stock for months again haha
Oh that *Death* *Note* box set is really nice, I love box sets.
Same here! I really love the look of this box set and it was nice to read the commentary in the book that came with it!
Oh nice the deluxe edition of *Berserk,* I got mine a few weeks ago, I seen that Written in Darkness book but didn’t think it would be any good.
Ah yeah, I am always interested in reading more analytical, research-esque books, so I bought it out of pure curiosity! Awesome that you also got in your Deluxe Edition a few weeks ago too.
You’re in for a treat with Land of the Lustrous!! Things take off after vol 4.

Kekkaishi is my favorite manga of all time and I'm so happy to see someone pick it up! I've never seen it on TH-cam before so I was worried no one else reads it. 🥺 I hope you enjoy it!
I heard this one is criminally underrated for how amazing it is, so I couldn't wait to check it out! That's awesome to hear that it's one of your favorites of all time and thank you so much! Glad I found it at half price because I'm anxious to read it and I have plans to do a video on Kekkaishi as soon as I finish reading it.

I always find interesting new manga (or great classics that I’ve forgotten about) from your hauls! I love the vids, thank you for sharing!! Also, I’d love to hear your thoughts about the Berserk Written in Darkness book! I saw it at my local bookstore, but I haven’t seen a lot about it online

Great vid. You should also check out the series Golgo 13. Right Stuf has most of the volumes in stock, and thankfully they’re episodic and nonlinear so you can pick up any volume. Cartoonist Kayfabe also did a great video on the series as well.

I have a problem as well..😭 I said I was kinda done buying dbz resin statues. Then tsume releases there 1/4 frieza ...so there I go ordering one.😪
It's easy to go overboard with so many awesome statues out there! I am the same with certain characters haha Said I was going to stop and here I am buying more Itachi statues, so I feel you there 😅 There's always something that pulls you back in and that's awesome that you are getting one of Tsume's DBZ statues!
i have been restraining myself from buying manga till black friday lol. hoping to pickup the rest of berserk and i am a hero. Also been keeping an eye out for the fma box set, depending on sale prices though i might get the fullmetal editions. AND youve made me want to get into Hells paradise but i cant find vol 1 in stock :(

I should be waiting for Black Friday as well! I really hope there will be some big sales this year on manga and I hope Berserk, I Am A Hero and FMA go on sale so you can pick them up!

I'm planning to pick up One Punch Man, Death Note and Bakuman soon as well, they're like essentials, I need them asap xD.
I definitely need to read Fist of the North star, since it looks so good. This was a good reminder for me to rewatch your video covering the first volume.
I'm definitely very curious about Demon's Dede..destruction, I'm sure your video about it will be great.
I am a Hero is definitely the best zombie apocalypse manga out there, it was a fun read for sure! I wouldn't mind adding it to my collection eventually, but it isn't a high priority for now.
I love Fire Force! The cover from volume 23 is one of my favorites as well, it looks so nice. Volume 27 has my favorite cover from the series at the moment.
Happy to see you picked up With Hat Atelier, it's a really refreshing read with how beautiful the art is.
Kekkaishi is also one that I've been meaning to try out at least to see if I enjoy it since I do really enjoy the mangaka's art style.
Hyde and Closer also has a really interesting style, I've had it on my plan to read list but I never got to it, but it is short so it's somewhat more accessible.
Great to see some Gokushufudo as well, such a fun manga! And Land of the Lustrous is a really awesome read, it's quite the ride and it is very unique overall (the anime for it is really good as well).
What I picked up this month? Hm, well the Blue Lock and Tokyo Revengers volumes I ordered last month arrived and I love them. I also had miscellaneous things I needed to catch up with arrive and I also got my hands on the awesome Black Lagoon Onslaught art book. In a day or two I want to make my order for next month, I'll be picking up all of Attack on Titan in Japanese, which is great since I really adore the series. I'll also be picking up all of Made in Abyss in Japanese as well, it's another one of my favorites.
That's awesome that you got in Blue Lock and Toyko Revengers! Two of my most wanted and can't wait to get physical copies. Wasn't aware there was a Black Lagoon artbook, so I'm definitely going to check that out. AOT and Made in Abyss are two of my favorites. Man, you had an awesome month and a lot of great pickups!
I feel the same way about One Punch, Death Note, and Bakuman. Definitely essentials! I love Dead Dead Demon's Dededededestruction so far (I think there's on volume left) but I can't wait to do a video on the series.
I agree about I Am A Hero; One of my top manga with zombies. They were out of stock here for the longest time and we actually thought they were out of print, but they surprise restocked!
I just looked up Vol. 27 and that cover is awesome!
I just picked up the rest of the volumes of Witch Hat Atelier after reading the first. It really was a refreshing read as you said and the art is top-notch. Kekkaishi is one I too have been meaning to get into for some time.
I have heard incredible things about Land of the Lustrous' anime. Great to hear you enjoyed it as well! I am definitely going to check it out after I read the manga.

Atelier is definitely refreshing, that''s the perfect way to describe it, I'm glad to know you like it.
Black Lagoon has a few art books, but the older they are, the less Black Lagoon related art they have. So the most recent art book, Onslaught is the most complete one (I also made a video where I flip through it).
Speaking of art books, as a side note, since we're both Dorohedoro fans, did you know there's a really amazing art book called Mud and Sludge that has all of Q's color illustration work from the Dorohedoro manga? I definitely highly recommend that you pick that one up since it's a really fantastic book, I also made a video about that one.

I am lucky to have half price and barnes and noble nearby and never take that for granted, because I know it's hard for a lot of people elsewhere to buy manga. I really hope that changes and manga becomes available to buy where you live!
I love Kekkaishi! and just recently picked it up! (minus vol 14 as its very OOS/ rare) but great haul!

Holy crap that is crazy! I picked up some new manga myself, Fairy Tail Box Set 2, Fire Force 1 and 2, Uzaki-chan 2-4, Fist of the North Star 1 and 2. Lots of great reading to keep me busy for a while.
Man yeah, you do have a lot to keep you busy for awhile! Sounds like you have a lot of great series to read! Fist of the North Star is one of my favorites to release this year, so that's awesome that you are getting into it.

How good is Drifters does it compare to Hellsing
Hey! I'm anxious to read Drifters but have three more volumes to find since some of them are out of print. Once I do, I'll make sure to do a video about the series! But I'm a big fan of Kohta Hirano's after reading Hellsing, so I can't wait to read this one too.

Hey! The volumes that released through TOKYOPOP are out of print, but the volumes from Viz don't seem like they are going out of print. It looks like they are just out of stock at the moment!

Hey! So far I've only read Uzumaki, Sensor, and Lovesickness. I'm going to eventually read all of his manga, but must admit that I'm for some reason struggling to get into his work even though I love horror. Hopefully I just haven't found the series that is going to fully hook me yet. I also still haven't read some of his most highly-regarded series like Tomie and Gyo. To be determined what I think overall but I'll do a video on his work and my thoughts on his manga once I finish reading them all!
