That was exhausting what a tour ;-) . At least you have everything documented for renters and home owners insurance which is essential based on the totality of that world class collection. The Gundham universe is so sprawling I had no idea it was so large and with the models you and Brad have to be the go-to subject matter experts for Gundham for sure that’s wonderful. Yes - boxed sets are selling at premium prices now . lol on Junji Ito I’m completely hooked on his art and horror world view . Only Human was fantastic as well and I thought the spirals one was so damn funny and quirky .
haha yeah so much to get through! Oh wow, I didn't even think of that. This was a great way to document everything. And man, thank you! We love everything to do with Gundam, so that is awesome to hear!
And ah yeah, I still have a lot of his works to get into so I'm hoping something clicks and still giving him a fair shot! No Longer Human is one I have yet to read and I'm curious to see how it compares to the original by Osamu Dazai. One I have on the list to read though!

Awesome collection! Hoping to display my collection like that too whenever we get our place. And great prints from Kehasuk! I discovered him at a con yrs ago and got his DBZ and Naruto world prints, and just recently got the HXH world print too!
Yay, part 2 let's go! Your shonen shelf was awesome! I love the general setups from your rooms, everything looks so nice, clean and sleek! Those prints from minute 6 of the video are so beautiful, hopefully one day your dream comes true and you get a tattoo with his art! That HxH print is also absolutely incredible!
You did say you have some upcoming art book videos and I'm very excited for those! I assume you most likely did pick up the Dorohedoro Mud and Sludge art book, since you're a fan of the series, it's such a great art book! Dorohedoro actually also has an anime background artbook as well and a general manga Sketchbook too (also an artbook), so you can definitely look into getting those as well if you're interested in them. If you need any info or help on finding those you can let me know since I have some links /general key search terms for them, as I'd like to eventually get all of them myself. I only have the Mud and Sludge book at the moment and I even have a video covering it. I'm so happy us Dorohedoro fans got so much cool content/media released after the manga finished, we're living the dream basically haha.

It is definitely a dream of mine to have a Simon Bell tattoo. I will have to do a video about that if I ever get one and if allowed! Have to take a trip to the UK though to do so haha He and Kehasuk are both phenomenal artists and love supporting them as much as I can.
Your videos have been very helpful with art books and I definitely already checked out your Dorohedoro one! I'm going to order that one, but didn't know there were so many of them! Also looking to get a D Gray-man one. I have the Death Note art book and the Takehiko Inoue Water art book on the way now though! Would love to have the Tsutomu Nihei artbook too, so that's another one I'm eyeing!
Any help with links would be greatly appreciated (I'm in new territory here haha). I am a huge fan of Dorohedoro and Q Hayashida so I also would love to own them all eventually but they can be quite difficult to find at times here. We definitely are lucky! haha They're even coming out with statues now, which I can't believe!

I'm definitely curious about the D-Gray Man book, I haven't really had a closer look at that one. I recently kind of remembered, oh yeah, there is a really cool Death Note art book, and it's huge, I'd love to get that one. I remember seeing the Tsutomu Nihei one online, I think it's older and harder to find.
I initially thought I wasn't going to be that interested in collecting art books, oh boy was I wrong, haha, now there's so many cool ones I know I want to own for sure.

I was the same way about art books at first. Brad collects a lot of video game art books, but we are excited to get into collecting anime and manga art books as well.

Yeah, there's a ton of really good looking gaming art books out there as well. I'd love to see Brad make some appearances of his own on the channel some day, based on his tastes I'm sure he's super cool, maybe he can share some of the stuff he's passionate about.
This was a fun tour. I have a couple suggestions you might love. There is an 8 manga series from one of the assistants from Berserk called "Wolfsmund". Book one is impossible to find (I'm on the hunt for it as well) but the rest are cheap on Right Stuf. Also, Nausicaa box set. It's a great buy. Glad I found this channel.

I wasn't aware that it is by one of the assistants of Kentaro Miura and it looks like it's right up my alley, so I'll definitely be picking it up as I find it. Wow every thing you guys own is sorted very neatly. A Tokyo trip is like paradise for western anime and manga enthusiasts. I believe it is still a pain to get into Japan currently with their restrictions

Man, I definitely had to get it!! Couldn't believe I found it at Half Price and finally got the rest of the volumes at Right Stuf. And agreed, I saw how underrated this one was and after getting into it, I can't believe it is! Awesome to hear that it's one of your top 3 shonen. I'm a huge supernatural fan too, so I'm looking forward to completing the series!

When I was a kid I owned 5 manga volumes. I wish I hadn't gotten rid of them, but I owned 1-3 of the Gundam Last Outpost volumes. Don't know why I chose those ones. Looking back those seem really random. I also had vol 1 of Naruto and Bleach. This was back in 2005 when I was in high school.

And I am love your Yamamoto and Hitsugaya figures! You have a lot of shonens that idk 😂, but seens very interesting.
And I recommed to you to read Kingdom. Is such a good manga series, and its a pitty that you dont have printed in USA for now, but stay tunned to buy it!

My god, the amount of Manga you have, crazy, I’m only just getting into Manga, all I currently own are the 8 deluxe editions of *Berserk* (vol 9 arrives here tomorrow), and I’ve just ordered the first 10 volumes of *Seven* *Deadly* *Sins* after I started to watch the anime of it, I absolutely love it, can’t wait to read the Manga.
Manga looks great sitting on your bookshelves, I’ve only bought *DC* floppies for the last 10 years, you can’t store them on shelves, I’ve have them bagged & boarded in a load of boxes. So I’m really looking forward to getting into Manga, I’ll buy the other 31 volumes of *Seven* *Deadly* *Sins* first & then start on *Demon* *Slayer,* *Attack* *on* *Titan,* *Vagabond,* *My* *Hero* *Academia* & *One* *Piece.*
Man yeah, it's been a long time of collecting haha I recently got into a lot of series lately so I'm playing catch up. I just received vol 9 of the Berserk Deluxe Editions as well! Always a happy day when a new one arrives as I'm sure you know! I also need to get into The Seven Deadly Sins. Watched the first season so far, but really want to get into the manga too.

And ah man, honestly I haven't read enough of his works just yet to answer with full confidence haha I've only read Uzumaki, Sensor, and Lovesickness so far, but have the rest on a reading list. Out of those I'd choose the Lovesickness short story, because I think I could live in that one pretty easily. If I had my choice of anything, I'd be in a sci-fi horror or zombie horror story though like Biomega, because I'd love to walk through Tsutomu Nihei's worlds in person even though it'd be terrifying or Blame! because I'd love to fire the Gravitational Beam Emitter just once haha
If you like Final Fantasy you may enjoy Final Fantasy the Lost Stranger. It's a Manga to celebrate FFs 35th anniversary. It's Isekai but it's really good.

Try Witch and the Beast manga , I know it sounds like a shoujo series , but trust me its definitely not. Its a dark fantasy action seinen manga . The plot is intriguing and hooked me right from chapter one .And omg , the art. Its so detailed and very cinematic . Give it a try you'll definitely like it.

Read raw hero 1-4 and thought it was pretty bad, didn't seem like much happend. Was going to check out prison school but raw hero kind of put me off. Great collection, really enjoyed the tour, look forward to the next video.
Ah man, Prison School is his best work in my opinion! It's absolutely hilarious and the art is incredible, but his manga definitely isn't for everyone haha The ending leaves a lot to be desired but the journey there was incredible. Raw Hero was one I enjoyed initially and I liked the characters and premise, but it did lose me towards the end. Unfortunately it just didn't have enough time or volumes to really go anywhere.
@@AnimeCollective i felt raw hero was quite boring, i liked the premise, the art but felt nothing happened. Might pick up prision school at some point. Got afew manga i want to start getting like chainsaw man, firepunch, blame! And also got odd volumes i need like vagabond 6 and 10 and pluto vol.3 and afew others. Pluto is proving really hard to get, vagabond seems to pop up randomly as i keep checking amazon etc. On vol.5 of punpun which is great so far. Prison school is quite a hard one to get at times to. Had a look for real but thats hard to get too.

I’ve always wanted to get into gundam manga. Where do you think I should start ?
I recommend starting with the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin hardcovers! A lot of the Gundam manga series are out of print, so they are pricier to collect, but those are still available even though some of the volumes are out of stock right now. Great story though, beautiful editions and artwork, and you'll see where it all began!

2 parts I was waiting for you to talk about the Berserk busts and you have skipped them? Common😓 anyway impressive collection and I like the fact that it look like you have read most of it. Most of the TH-camrs are buying stuff they know nothing about...
I know this is an old video but I'm a huge fan of Junji Ito. Sadly the two books you have read are some of my least favorite and a bad representation of what he can make. Read Shiver. If you don't like Shiver then you won't like Junji Ito. I think Junji Ito is best at writing shorter stories with strange concepts, and Shiver has some really good stories. Give it a chance if you haven't already.
I think shiver snd uzumaki are his best books. Some of the newer books are not very good in mine and many opinions

That's awesome that you build gunpla too and that is a very good question! haha Needless to say I have somewhat of a backlog, but I try my best to keep up with both of them!

Luckily I have an Ikea close by, so I run over and pick up a new Billy bookcase if they are in stock whenever I run out of space! But they've been out of stock a lot lately, so I have a billy in my closet that holds them all until I can get another! I have had a stack next to them before as well (out of reach of my cats of course haha).
And yes! Love Fairy Tail. Now I just need to find Rave Master for a decent price 😅

Oh no haha! I totally misread what you said at first. I haven't crossed that bridge just yet, but it seems like I will be soon. I think it's the statues that are going to get me though. I've had to start using space vertically lately, so I get the tallest cases possible. Not sure if that would help any or box sets, because you can store those volumes in the box securely.

Go straight to No Longer Human for Junji Ito. That one is substantially better than any other of his works. Skip Gyu and Tomie.
Thanks for letting me know! I'm going to give all of his manga a shot, but I'm going to read No Longer Human next! I'm really interested in seeing how his compares to the original by Osamu Dazai.

Not yet but you are right! It would definitely fit in well. I'm caught up with it in the Viz app and it's one of my favorites, so I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to get it. Probably because some of the volumes keep going out of stock haha but I'm going to pick it up soon!

def think raw hero is a much better work based on what i saw from the prison school anime. :(
Seems like Raw Hero was cancelled which is a bummer. I did enjoy it but because of that the story felt a little rushed with only 6 volumes. With more time, I think I could have gotten into this one a lot more but his art is incredible as always and I did like the characters. And ah man, the Prison School anime cracked me up haha Really enjoyed the manga too despite its ending! There's nobody out there that's quite like Akira Hiramoto and I enjoy his sense of humor!
