Check the updated link in the description for details about the crate. This one is too small for a full grown Husky, but you could easily change the size to accommodate.
Well, this can be adapted to a limited tool build. Instead of a table saw, all the cuts could be made with a circular saw, or even a hand saw if you have the time and endurance. Instead of using pocket holes, you could add an extra 1x3 board around the window area to create a rabbet-type lip for the kennel bars to sit on and just glue and screw them down. Or you could make a pocket hole jig by drilling angled holes into some scrap wood.

GORGOUS top! I would have not painted the rest white, though. That top would have looked better with stained wood, in my opinion. I get that its to match decor but, use a white painted top or make a top that goes with white. I just didnt think that top went with the rest of the wood. I also would not put wooden slats on a dog crate as, even with dogs that are not normally anxious can become super anxious over something unexpected and not under your control and chew on it possibily hurting themselves. i know these are unbelievably expensive to buy and WAY cheaper to make but I would put metal rods down the sides, not wooden slats, just for saftey but thats just me. It is nice!
your dog looks overweight you should take it to the vets...you must be feeding it too much.my friends got a corgi that used to look like that because it was overweight...since going to the vets it's doing well

My shih tzu is only 7lbs which I think she's to slim but the vet saids that's a healthy weight (she's not all bone showing). She eats, drinks and goes on normally. I'm trying to have her gain some weight by giving her little more food than her portion. However she doesn't eat everything. Maybe some dogs have bigger appetite or will eat everything that's offer. Also lack of exercise could contribute to gaining weight too besides just food intake. I'm not trying to cut exercise from my dog just so she'll put on some lbs.
LoversLane Hawj at a good weight you should be able to feel the pets ribs but not see them. If your vet said the weight is a healthy weight then you should probably listen to them and not over feed. If you don't believe the vet then get a second opinion from a different one and if they still say your pet is at a healthy weight then you should definitely listen. Additional weight can cause problems as we all know.
