i love IZP saying :" i need more powerful weapons do engage lv 4 quest" > " Ok , now i got a legendary SMG 5" then IZP doing all quest with his stunbaton x)
It might be purely anecdotal, but I've had good success finding Legendary parts after completing the "Wasteland Treasures" books. The new completion bonus is "more Legendary parts in loot", and I always get 1 or sometimes 2 Legendary parts looting POIs during a Trader Quest. I got 8 parts over 5 quests after I got the completion bonus.
I'm just here waiting for P to harvest the Aloe plant he planted in like the 1st episode. I always farm the CRAP out of Yucca and blueberries for pies, It's been interesting seeing someone who never farms anything, not have issues with food as well. Then again I never have even a motorcycle by day 10 so there's that.
Most of my Legendary Parts have seemed to come from clothes piles, garment bags, and clothing shelves. Savage Country has been a gold mine for them plus armor parts and cloth in my playthrough so far. For pure cloth(always in short supply with the duct tape and bandage recipe cost increase), the Checkpoints like the tier 4 you ran and tier 3 outposts have been phenomenal. Those tents break down into a ton of cloth.
Any of the campsite poi's are great, them tents scrap for a lot of cloth. Scrapping the barrack sections of the T5 military base no. 6 wields a lot of cloth.
Found that all the new higher lvl POIs are like unbalanced compo pack POIs, just full of cops and tanky things, because...reasons. And don't bother with a T5 in the Wastelands, nothing but rads and ferals of the big variety. Not worth the supplies it takes to clear them, except that they have Legendary parts in the end loot. but, if you get a little luck and some perseverance, you don't need them.
Depending how you play. I always play max dif, and I only do infested jobs. I love new POIs. I actually miss the old super freaky compopack stuff of a19 and before.
Now when the quest rewards are none, whats the point in doing anything else than tier 5 and 6 infested, cuz infested box is the only good loot you get.
Good job crafting that Preacher Outfit. I wasn't expecting you to do so :D The quests are still broken in terms of giving book bundles all the time but otherwise they're dog shit... they really gotta rebalance the system and playtest the game so they find all the bugs themselves because they're not fixing them at all...
Yeah the rewards really suck the loot in the poi's is the best way to get anything. Some of the newer poi's are heavily unbalanced the new T5 school has a ton of zombies while the Suite 7 doesn't have that many at all. If you wanted to break the game on single player once you get the tier 6 quests just do the school break the front door which is right where the loot is loot it, log off reset the quest just keep repeating. Don't know if they changed it with the last patch but the T6 infested cache always yields a T6 item.
16:38 I have to agree. back in my primary school we had this little graveyard housing three graves, on top of the fact that school teachers even painted pictures on the walls surrounding those graves, which was the weirdest thing ever. my 9yo brain back then couldn't comprehend how our school always had unexplained accidents every year, the victims of which seemed to have disrespected those dead bodies. I drive by the school every once in a while, and always wondered if they actually moved those dead people somewhere else
The new Poi's and how the roads work seem to be the only improvements. The generation and load times are also a nice improvement I have yet to find a road that turns into an almost 90 degree angle. But gameplay wise just got more tedious is all. I absolutely hate having to do a dig quest for Rekt at the start always yields a murky water and old sham sandwich and pays you zero dukes it is a total waste of time and you end up spending more food and water getting the thing done than you gain in return and food and water is already a problem when just starting out.
Your rewards were better than my T4 rewards. WAY better. Honestly, the rewards for tier completions has been shit all around from level 1 to 5. The bicycle was the best, embarrassingly.
You should be looking out to complete the Wasteland Treasures book series. They changed the completion bonus to finding more Legendary parts in loot since they phased out military fiber with the new armor crafting requirements.
If you want to grind the farming things going out to the cold biome and just running around on a motorcycle at night makes all the green plants in the farms and POIs just pop.
Best way to balance quest rewards for weapons, tools and armor would be to cap their level at 3. Good enough to use but still needs to get crafted or found if you want the best versions
LOL - "BEEP-BEEP!" Roadrunner is so much fun. I mean, he's a jerk, but if you think about it, an awful lot of those 'protagonists' are! (Fair enough Coyote IS trying to kill him, but...)
i feel like the quest rewards for tier 3 to 5 should have increasing chances to give a legendary part as a reward, and like a increasing amount of armor or weapon parts, so that they would be the way we farm tier 6 equipment
The rewards in this game seriously need to be revamped. I always choose the crafting book bundle bc I can always use books and they sell for alot if I don't need them
Oh right, I've found legendary parts in like the shoes and garment bags in houses and such. It is rarer but it's where I've found the ones I have on my playthrough
I’ve finished all the quests, completed tier 6, it’s absolutely not worth it. The tier 6 completion was alright, but it’s comparable to Alpha 20 tier 4 complete, a couple bundles and ammo. Not worth it, the traders are nolonger worth any risk.
i can understand the poor loot reward complaints, but then again, there are only so few rewards that we all think is "worth" it. I kind of like how the rewards are basic in some sense as it really does make you go out and look for those items. and eventually, you do get the drop if you just casually go about your day. but i also understand that looking for ONE particular item can be annoying. in my current save of 50 hours, i've only found 1 beaker in the wild but plenty of legendary parts other rarities. its up to the RNG gods at this point.
Sure, Stun Batons + Physician 5 are broken, but does it still have that thing from last alpha where your turrets could also get the euthanasia perk provided you were holding your baton? Because that was hilariously broken.
That yucca existed to spite whatever god you believe in. Also it would take like a week to add ACTUAL lockpicking, not even with modsets already out there. fuck sake. Highschool with playground? The fuck?
Is it the rogue gloves that add lock picking buff? Would be interested to see how good it is without putting points in lock picking compared to having three points and no gloves.
Am new to the game but know the base been to day 7 a few time been re starting but don’t know what’s a good start if it matters don’t want to be ran over but don’t want to go a weapon that you want use end game but the stun baton you will because of the op cc any tips lol so I can stop restarting
is it true that with vanilla 1.0 you can have 3 land claim blocks active at once? someone I watch said it but I haven't tried it out--it would be handy though
@@telapathetic9944 Wights I think also give you a legendary bundle. Demos as well but you aren't getting that by time you actually need them by time you get that you are swimming in legendary parts.
First time playing 7D2D and I don't know what to loot and what to drop so I loot and keep everything, piles of trash can yield legendary parts and I'm up to nine so far at level 30.
I actually don't really think that the lockpicking skill affects your lockpicking chances in any meaningful way. The RNG is just so bad that you will get chain lock pick breakages even at level 3..
I don't think doing the higher tier POI's increases your chances of finding those tier 6 upgrade parts. I was finding more of those down in tier 2 POI's, went through tier 4's without getting any which I thought was just an RNG thing. It's just their wacky RNG at work as to when and where you find some.
The steel club is about as good as the zapper stick and in some ways it's better because you never get those times where you have to hit a zombie 15 times. You can send them flying once you get the perk to make them ragdoll more often, you can get instant full stamina refill for each time you kill one.
I'm pretty sure they buffed up shotguns too - they're just as good as the zapper stick. You can wipe out multiples of enemies with one shot if you hit the zombie scrum just so.
I killed a radiated tourist this morning with a steel club - one regular hit to his head. Didn't critical hit him either. Just a regular hit but with all the mods and maxed out skills it's devastating.
For me the thing that's set the baton apart has been Physician. I've already spend the points in Int so picking it up is cheap and it wouldn't matter if the baton did 0 points of damage a hit with the stun and death proc chance stuff doesn't last
@@telapathetic9944 It's ok It's just not the best weapon in the game - because it'll let you down. Like here in the video he knocks down a basic zombie and it took him several hits to kill it. I've seen guys say the sledge hammer is best but it'll let you down too. You want that knock back to happen and when it doesn't and you've run out of stamina you're screwed.
@@W1se0ldg33zerI don't think there really is a "best" it depends alot on personal play style and honestly melee is never going to take you all the way. For those I'd just drop a single Turret and then just tap anything that made it through with the baton. I think it's possible on Insane Nightmare Club may get the edge just due to how easily you can get swarmed by the speed but that's dependent on so many variables(level, talent placement, books read, melee mods)
Because they put those in with armor and clothing loots. So any container that had the chances for those can possibly have some show up in those containers.
@@zechsd1756 Yeah they just replaced the loot containers for clothing with more cloth, sewing kits and armor pieces. Got rid of the heavy armor pieces and the military armor roll of tape. Plus I noticed more piles of clothing on floors, double file cabinets, extra lockers - things like that.
