The speed with which the food bar goes down is ridiculous, Brian Shaw the survivor on 12000 calories a day. There is no way you used to burn through food this quickly in earlier versions. Its gotten particularly bad from Alpha 21 onwards.
Food is badly balanced. It's a challenge in the first week - no good recipes, no farm yet, huge burn rate because you're permanently recovering stamina. Later it becomes trivial because all these factors change. Motor vehicle turns the travel time from total exhaustion to no stamina use at all, you fight with firearms, you have money to buy a lot - the great cooking recipes you got on top of that aren't even useful any more. Maybe they should make a progressive food burn. Start low, let it increase exponentially with level (or game stage?). Wouldn't be realistic at all, but would turn food from a newbie problem into a late game challenge.
I've never had any issue with food in A21. It's a complete non-issue from day 1 to day 100. They should either offer less food or increase calorie burn rate. That would put some motivation behind actually hunting or performing actions that result in food rewards. Right now I see all food as having zero value.
@@knurlgnar24 Depends on the play style. If you spend a lot of time methodically looting the kitchens and such, you won't have an issue right from day 1. Tier progression is slower for multiplayer than 1 player. You only get tier advancement for quests you take, not for finishing your teammate's quest. So for 2 player you do 20 quests to get the bicycles for each of you. But you get 20 rewards.
@@michaellee4276 No, tier progression is exactly the same as single player now, where as before you could progress twice as fast with 2 players by double-dipping on the quests. Now you can't do that, so your tier progression is restricted to exactly the same speed you could do it in single player.
@@starfuryms582 well, if you don't do quests together, and solo the quests separately that's true. Or if you only do one person's quests, then you get a single bike faster. But if you quest together it will take more days than soloing, you'll each do 20 quests, get 20 basic rewards, but one tier completion reward each. If you quest together, crafting the bike may be better because of that. There is a good chance you unlock the workbench, the bicycle, 4 Wheels and enough mechanical parts (including mech parts for the workbench) before you do 20 quests together. Hey, Prebuilt, I'd like to ask your opinion on some topic. I've read a comment under Gun Nerds and Steel video about XP boosting gear is currently a handicap seeing how with level gamestage goes up and it doesn't benefit item drops as it used to, but still makes the game harder by spawning harder zombies. I would genuinely love to know what you think of that as someone I learned a lot from. So does it mean claiming XP rewards, drinking XP boosters and wearing nerd helmet would genuinely make the game harder in a long term?
Curious if folks have noticed a reduction in wildlife, at least starting out in the forest biome? Also once we move into 1.0 full release, would you consider a performance setting guide video? I know its a bit subjective based on graphics preferences and hardware but could still be quite useful for PC users.
Now I’m curious about the change in trader hours. Before, the hours were fixed at 0605 - 2150 hours but are they now set for sunrise to sunset? So if you are a crazy person that lengthens the night time hours, are the traders’ hours shortened?
I'm not impressed tbh, new poi's, less rewards from trader's quest. 1.0 is not much better then alpha 21. My biggest complaint is my trader rekt kept giving me lvl 1 quest that are 1 to 2 Kilometres away, wtf.

It could just be that RNG is not on my side in my playthrough, but something is definitely up given how much Perk books seem to be more common over Crafting magazines.

I'm not terribly pleased with this new armour set up. It looks good and protects well, but lacks the found on a dead body/survival/cobbled together vibe. I really enjoyed exploring camps and hoping to find a military helmet, now we have helmets, but not military ones. The Operator armour is the closest to looking like military armour and just doesn't look as protective as what the soldiers are wearing. Maybe I'm being foul as I hav'nt played it yet, but overall, I just want army/SWAT helmet to be in the game.
I noticed that it seems like they took a number of ideas from mods (that I and others have been using for some time now to make the game somewhat bearable in the past since the Un-Fun Pimps became so adversarial to the player base) and added them as "new features." Anyone else notice that as well?
@@annoying4sure I believe they were originally a Khaine mod, yes, but I may be wrong on that score. I know they weren't native to 7DTD to be sure. I've also seen the "challenges" idea in various forms including in the Wild West Mod
Na ah. What kind of mind would create this would now spend 2x more time doing tasks as you play with 1 friend and 10x when you play with 10 people. Each of us now has to do quests separately because shared quests don't count. Each of us has to do our own 10 quests which gives me when I play with a colleague 20 quests. This is sick.
Yea because it stops you from double-dipping to speed up the tier quest, you both can still do each other quest to get loot and Xp just takes a lil longer that all.. Just shut up an enjoy the game...
Still not sure how I feel about the whole dew collector thing. It really is a stupid aspect for a "survival simulator." There's a lake right there, and you can't just get a bucket of water and boil it. Hurdur. In that situation, it's not being able to build the fire that will kill you. (Or some apocalypse poison being in the water...) You can't get water from a freakin' LAKE, but you can get it from this little bullshit device which doesn't have anything close to a wide enough gatherer lol But from a gaming perspective I kindof see why they wanna slow the water down. Getting water from the lake would make early game easier, and it would buff glue production throughout. But I dunno, seems like they could find other ways to make glue as annoying as it needs to be.
I feel bad for the streamers. I sense this one falling off. I can't wait until Izpre tests all of these new claims. I've a feeling most of them don't work.
I'm a huge fanboy of 7 Days with over 4500 in game over more than a decade. _However_ calling this v1.0 is a joke. It's a typically slow release of A22 without half the promised features and tweaks to gameplay that make the game feel less fun somehow. Sincerely yours, Disappointed of Navezgane.
i dunno about anyone else. but i feel like the zombies should JUST do more damage on higher difficulties NOT have increased health because to me they are zombies and we all know headshot is how to kill them. and i dont wanna spend 80 years trying to kill one zombie! XD
The honey from stumps challenge is annoying. My first try the game out i don't really care about anything play through i broke 7 tree stumps and got the 5 honey. The first 3 stumps i broke gave me honey. My current playthrough that i care about and am trying to do the challenges I'm on day freaking 12 have harvested probably 25 tree stumps and still haven't completed the damn challenge. In the words of IZ RNG f$@ked me 😂
The game is fun as it always has been. The devs finally xall it feature complete and i can respect it. Its been alpha for long wnough for for the love of fucking god, the jar system is dumb as hell. That needs to be reworked still 😑

yes yes yes , the dew collector is still a dumdum nerf , we need our jars back . still loving your content hard but fair wen it come's to the pimps .
FUCK THAT!!! Glad glass jars and tin cans are gone.. getting water was way to easy to get
Funny enough, they didn't change/fix, pre digging a buried cash hole to skip the waves of zombies
I was going to see if you uploaded and didnt think you would for another few hours 😂
I noticed that it seems like they took a number of ideas from mods (that I and others have been using for some time now to make the game somewhat bearable in the past since the Un-Fun Pimps became so adversarial to the player base) and added them as "new features." Anyone else notice that as well?
yeah, the lockable inventory slots 22:09 for example (locked at 0 slots) - That was a mod, right?
@@annoying4sure I believe they were originally a Khaine mod, yes, but I may be wrong on that score. I know they weren't native to 7DTD to be sure. I've also seen the "challenges" idea in various forms including in the Wild West Mod
yaaaay lets gooooo
Doesn't Tier 5 Primative gives you a second mod slot?
Play the game an find out. . .
So many books geez...
I save the quest claims if im sketchy on hp and about to level up
Is there a way to change the fps limit?
Yea get a better Pc 😆
(Or some apocalypse poison being in the water...) You can't get water from a freakin' LAKE, but you can get it from this little bullshit device which doesn't have anything close to a wide enough gatherer lol
But from a gaming perspective I kindof see why they wanna slow the water down. Getting water from the lake would make early game easier, and it would buff glue production throughout. But I dunno, seems like they could find other ways to make glue as annoying as it needs to be.
Cement mixers aren't guaranteed either
I feel bad for the streamers. I sense this one falling off. I can't wait until Izpre tests all of these new claims. I've a feeling most of them don't work.
Sub here. Is the Preacher armor light or heavy? Asking for a friend :)
Medium
@@d4cto Thanks :)
They shoud bring back empty glass bottles, possibility to cook meat without skills,
FUCK NO!!! water was WAY TOO EASY to get/make
👍👍
👏👏👏👏👏
24 minutes YOOOOOO
Meh, all this waiting, for what? The only good I see is the RWG "improvements" and some of the performance changes.
I'm a huge fanboy of 7 Days with over 4500 in game over more than a decade. _However_ calling this v1.0 is a joke. It's a typically slow release of A22 without half the promised features and tweaks to gameplay that make the game feel less fun somehow.
Sincerely yours,
Disappointed of Navezgane.
i dunno about anyone else. but i feel like the zombies should JUST do more damage on higher difficulties NOT have increased health because to me they are zombies and we all know headshot is how to kill them. and i dont wanna spend 80 years trying to kill one zombie! XD
anyone else just unable to complete the gather short iron pipes challenge?
That needs to be reworked still 😑
Would rather play alpha 21 don't like any of the changes except poi,
Bro they fucked quests
No they haven't they just stop ppl like you farming quest the get ahead quicker
I cant play. It crashes when i start the game, and if i wait for that long ass loading time, i slowly load the game and have a 80% chance of crashing during the load.
Fuq 1.0 im out.
idk if your having the same issues as me but try opening the game from the files, not steam. idk what that does but it works for me, maybe for you.
@@Demoman714 straight to the exe? Ok, I'll try it, thanks
sounds like you hav a potato for a Pc then 😆
Dew containers is my least favorite change. It makes the game feel like it has even less immersion.
But having 250 glass jars with one click have all the water you need isn't 🤔
amogus

Erster 👍🏻
This game is dead to me.
New episodes are taking too long to come out, unfortunately
they come out every day fuck off.
Is this a new version of that cancer as fuck "hurr durr him fulluring offfff" cause Prebuilt is more consistent than most TH-camrs.
@@IzPrebuilt get em bro!! Haha....did you not get a streamer weekend code ? I can't Imagine a world where you wouldn't have ...
I can see why he didn't get a code... Iz is honest about the game.... And for a 1.0 45usd game, it's definitely not where it should be, and it's quite obvious watching iz unfortunately.
The horrible world of charred meat! peak
