The stamina became an issue after concussion because it has a side effect -1 intellect, meaning not maxxed electrocutioner and physician not max effect either so the stamina reduction is no longer max and no longer 10% chance instakill
The stamina reduction effect maxes out at at level 4 electrocutioner similarly to the perk for other melee weapons. Some stamina gained from kills was lost though.
For all the armored units i think the spear would make it because it ignores armor and you have the range. You just need to find a way tp bring them into a row. But we saw on the cops only season it will not be easy
Was surprised at the armor choice. The nerd piece with intellect weapon damage buff would have help the 100 whacks per zombie. Also nerd is heavy armor possibly reducing damage being taken.
@@brandonwilson7434Points into strength only affect headshot damage with strength weapons. He had full intellect and I don’t even know what difficulty he was playing on and it still took so long for them to die
Much respect, but as a player that does Int builds a lot, i can make a couple suggestions. One, manage your stamina by resting when they're all on the ground. 2nd, power attacks arent necessary when they're down, physician 5 and Int 10 mean headshots kill them outright very often. Biker armor is great for stamina. Also, turrets are meant to be used with the baton. Fun episode!
if you haven't proven it's the best weapon, you've proven it's a valid choice. At least for people who like the hard cc and/or playstyle. There is so much argument over this, i assume, because most have their own parameters for what "best" means to begin with and as all things go everything has its strong and weak points. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
With the new update knifes are the best melee, with lvl 6 assassin armor and 5 points into from the shadows, or with the book that improves sneak at night, you can melee zombies sneakyng and they dont notice you even if they survive, it is stupid
I agree with this but I don’t think I would use any melee weapon for horde night. There I think sledge may still be king. The zombies are just so tanky at higher levels.
@@Glock9 i think biker boots and gloves or prietcher gloves would have helped with the stamina and dmg here too, but really fun video bro thanks for posting even in vacation ! :)
For fighting with Stun Baton, you really need either the Preacher Gloves (bonus vs Undead) or the Nerd Gloves (bonus to melee weapons). In all honesty a Intellect player combines the crowd control power of the stun baton with the mow them down power of the junk turrets at choke points.
I think if youre playing multiplayer, the stun baton would be a good support weapon to CC the zombies while your friends kill the zombies. Because in the intelligence tree there is also another perk for supporting your party members and allies giving them several perks and buffs when being in a party or allied with you. And the physician perk tree can be used to heal your teamates aswell.
For what it's worth, I vote that you re-do this with each Melee weapon, or at least with the Sledge Hammer just to see what works best in 1.0. Clubs got a big buff that no one seems to have noticed.
How times have changed. I remember during the ghost town play through back in either alpha 17 or 18 (give or take) seeing Glock grab stub batons and never use them cause they were the worst melee weapon. Now I’m convinced that they are the best melee weapons
I've used the stun baton since it came into the game and still do. It's not my main melee weapon though, but I like it. It's gotten me out of some tough situations. Great video as always, Glock.
genuinley Glock you are one of the few TH-camrs that I actually enjoy just for their personality, been watching for years man, keep up the fantastic work my man. 🙏
That was a great performance... wow. I like the stun baton personally, but it is nice to have a backup weapon so when they are stunned, you can finish them off easier. Even a knife works as a backup to the stun baton. No way I could keep up with that POI like you did.. really entertaining.
T6 Infested POIs are a riot, I burn tons of turret and weapon ammo from the endless swarms that pop out like clowns from a clown car. Ran the good old Dishong POI the other day and had a blast fighting off hordes that made it like a horde night. Lots of fun, but like firewood when camping, when you think you have enough ammo, double it!
I'm an INT main but I personally think the stun baton is good for mid game. I feel if they gave Intellect a T3 baton it would be a whole lot better in the end game. Intellect is the only tree that doesn't have a tier 3 melee weapon.
LOL was one of The Best fights I have seen in a long while, loved your humor through it to. And it was clean to, that's getting so rare and is why I don't watch a lot of my old streamers anymore keep up the good fight Glock9 Great Video. And I am subscribed ! Your a real time Gladiator fighting like that.
When you do challenges like this, you should pick up regular cloth to make simple bandages. That way you wont waste the stronger healing items as fast.
Hey Glock! You should’ve used the nerd outfit instead of the assassin outfit. It pairs with the stun baton and you weren’t really trying to stealth the poi which is the whole point of the assassin set
Great job on the challenge! I know it's been previously mentioned, but using basically the same settings and perking into strength, do that challenge again with the Sledge Hammer. It would be great to see the comparison!
I love the stun baton but I play on default difficulty and turrets (easy mode in other words). I cannot imagine playing only with the batons...this was insane. I thought there was a book or perk to give stam on zombie death for baton. Wonder if they changed any of the damage numbers for weapons in 1.0.
It looked like the sprain and break were healed by the med kit because a large chunk of the 199 points left gets removed as they heal. It drops to 171 in like 2 seconds. Maybe not a bug and rather a feature of one of the perks you have?
Honestly loved the video! It's an interesting way to test a single weapon's effectiveness outside of horde nights. There were only a couple issues I could see that could be improved for any possible future videos. For instance, the armor was an odd choice since it's for stealth which you never used. You should have probably gone with one of the Heavy sets (minus the Miner set), more specifically after seeing how many hits you took, probably the Raider set for the stun/crit resistances and bonus melee damage. Other than that and maybe some slightly better food, this was a fantastic video and I can't wait to see if you'll do ones on other weapons, melee or otherwise!
I didn't catch it in the beginning... had Glock read the stun baton books in the tech junkie series? It didn't seem like he used the baton like he'd read volume 6; alternating between power and normal attacks to maximize the charge build up and delivery. Also Assassin set seemed like a waste when there was no sneaking going on at all. Biker head and boots and preacher gloves and outfit for the extra damage and resistance as well as more stamina for melee. Could even have gone with nerd gloves seeing as he only used the baton.
If you spec Fortitude, Brawling can be very effective. It is weaker overall, but with spiked knuckles it can be very effective since it cleaves somewhat & uses very little stamina. Also paired with Beer it can hit real hard.
Ran through this place last night with a buddy. I was using auto shotty he had the pump and I got SLEPT by like 7 rads. Opened the garage door to the outside. Turned away. Looked back and was cornered 😂love this game
Also they way I play it is if I get a stun-baton from the first few days in Mo Power trucks, which has happened, I will run the stun baton through end-game. Yeah I prefer toilet knife, but you can only do pistols/blades so often...
Hey Glock, 9:15 I bet your armor has "Critical Damage Healing" or whatever it's called. It has a chance to heal things like broken arms or legs or whatever.
IMO the stun baton is meant be play with robotic turret due to low dmg output and cc control. I mainly play int build coz of simple reason : why fight alone when turrets can fight alongside you 😊
its funny that the stun baton requires you to be more aggressive than the sledge, but the extreme crowd control makes it completely possible. Baton, 2x turret and a drone to heal me is my favorite combo
I did this last night with my freinds and we couldn't believe how insane it was lmao. We brought only 1 stack of ammo for each of our weapons thinking we where hot shit for using out lvl 6 spears and sledges, oh man how wrong we where
That concussion I think really played into the baton feeling limp in the latter half. -1 Int from the headlump turns off Lv5 Electrocutioner/Physician. Lost a lot of damage output there.
I started sweating when it hit nighttime and the last couple weren’t dead 😂 Great video, I agree with top comment. You should do one with the sledge so we can compare
Any weapon would have stamina issues with those groups. Even the club would take multiple power attacks to kill a single zombies in such a large group and have issues due to hits beign spread out between multiple zombies. Pairign teh stun baton with the robotic turrets as intended makes them extremely powerful for large groups in you find in tier 5 and tier6 POI's.
