I soaked the neoprene in warm and mild soapy water and it slides right on. You can also use KY Jelly. Just have to rinse it real good once your finished. And no, I couldn't use the butt pad
I have 2 of these stocks and love them. No problems with the butt pad but your video it appears that yours has been distorted. Mine lay flat on the frame with no issues. One comment on your method of installing the foam is to put the air nozzle between the foam and buffer tube and a couple of small bursts while holding the foam at the nozzle and let the air escape from the end nearest the reciever. Kind of like a whoopie cushion sound but it goes on and off easily. Works great.😀
I’ve had mine for a few years. I recently took it off and put it back on. Never had a problem with recoil pad or getting it right. Maybe older manufacturer? I also have slid the pad on by hand. I think they also make a carbine length. Nice setup. Love mine. Thanks!
I made a washer out of the flathead screw that fills the void behind the recoil pad screw head. Put 2 nuts on the flat head screw, use a vice to clamp on the double nuts then slowly drill out the center until the flat head breaks off from the threads/double nut. File and some sandpaper to remove the burrs and bingo. 🍻
All mine have Tighten up just fine. But I always have used a little washer with the screw Through the rubber into the buffer tube extension
washer may be the trick then!

Good tip
That foam piece trick worked like a charm
Yes Sir
used that technique many times on bikes works great
Nice!
I used soapy water to get mine on, your right about the pad, I used some washers on both sides had to make a custom washer for the outside
Ah, nice trick.
I really like those minimalist stocks....Good stuff....
I dig it
Recoil pad worked fine for me. Just realize you're pinching rubber between two metal parts. If it tears, you're out of luck.

Interesting.
Thank you! Thumbs up! Unfortunately the recoil pad IS a deal breaker for me.
Understandable
I actually found by putting soapy water, heavy on the soap, on the receiver extension that foam just slid right on!
good tip. thanks
Looks good. I like the foam cheek rest.
Me too

@@TheRealCobraBurnout I bet! She said she couldn't stand to see you dressed like a woman with a ball-gag in your mouth 🤣
This is also an easy way to install/remove grips on a sportbike.
Nice
Cool stock man...I like it... Maybe a small flat washer down the hole...Cheers
That recoil pad is toast. It's a bad design in my opinion.
Never seen that trick before, good job!
It worked our nicely
You do that same technique removing golf club grips. Awesome stock. Lookout CHE!
Nice
That's a nice technique and it works good
That's what she said
What length buffer tube is that
That's a good lookin stock !
