40 and alone
My husband told me, I knew I was going to marry you on our first date. We were married 1 1/2 later. We started a business, built our home and got married. We came to the table with a plan. I let him lead the relationship but I was the boss. We are divorced now after 13yrs of marriage, and the BEST of friends. I love him so much. I’m a wife type, it’s all about being a partner not a drill sergeant. Let him do all of the chasing, show just enough attention whereas he knows your interested but not needy. Ohhhhh!!! And, stop saying I’m a independent woman, that shhhh is wack- Independent means single, solo.. no you need a man!!!

@@gabrielbush6455 That is a great question. Let me start off by saying I'm most definitely an advocate for marriage. Now; to answer your question respectfully we are divorced because as mentioned earlier we came to the table with a plan and in that plan, we decided if the marriage started suffering turbulence we will try counseling if that doesn't work we will dissolve the marriage with a positive impact. He's almost 14 yrs my senior, we met at 25 & 38 the marriage started merging in different directions over time. I don't blame him, and he doesn't blame me ( that's the real 50/50) no judgment, pointing fingers, blame-shifting just pure accountability. When we divorced I didn't display greed, I showed love and peace. That's why I'm still the heir of everything and, why we are the best of friends. I've experienced the best healing over the last three years because I'm not bitter. We didn't jump into other relationships, we healed together as friends. I'm actually looking for him a wife LOL!! Are you healed and single?!?! JK! 😉

Not everyone wants the married life or to be the housewife. Some can be married and choose to stay child free, some are happy having a life partner without the legal work. The good thing nowadays is that we have choices.
My only caveat on it is, for women to not expect an equality of outcomes.
Most want a relationship and kids
Men & women have both masculine and feminine energy in various degree. Before I got married, I had both more evenly. After I got married, my masculine got stronger & stronger because I have to step up to the plate. I don't like it but I have no choice, weak husband I got.
