  • Hi Guys,
Today we have a series of stories from one of our viewers named Louie. Louie was a hunter who had a few strange experiences while hunting with guides in Colorado. While asking the guides about what he saw...they would not talk to him about it. Strange behavior for hunting guides who have seen it all!

Hi Chris, You asked for ideas...I'm in Colorado and have camped and backpacked all my life. The thing I have feared most is other humans. I don't have any stories myself but when I turn in for the night in my tent, it is other people that I am suspect of and that creep me out. Neighboring campers, well, you never know what you'll get. A lot of psychos out there - I prefer my chances with a bear or a lion or bigfoot!

Since you are the only person that I trust with these kind of stories and experiences, I don't want any other kind of topics. Sasquatch stories need to be told. Lots of people are still in the loop with them because they haven't seen them they don't think is real. Other topics can be found everywhere. But Chris, your channel is serious and legit and you share other's experiences in the most respectful way. Hope that doesn't even changes.

Look to Native Americans as well. I firmly believe the sasquatch have some sort of ancient bond/trust with native peoples. Natives are far more receptive of these types of beings & dont really react in awestruck & pulling cameras out, so i believe these beings trust them more.

If you are in a USDA Forest Service jurisdiction, and wish to guide, you are required to have a Special Use Permit with all the associated liability insurance and scrutiny. It's a pain at times. Given the " ambiguity" of Federal and some State governments regarding the presence of unknown hominids in these areas, and given the experiences of people dealing with Government agencies concerning this topic, I think the Guides do not want to lose their Special Use Permit.

    • @LackofFaithify
      @LackofFaithify ปีที่แล้ว

Yes, because society would collapse if it was suddenly revealed that bigfoot, that marketing symbol and logo on a thousand different products, subject of a thousand different tv specials and movies were real. After all, no one has heard of such a phenomenon. It would upset the natural order and daily lives of millions. So obviously, the government must enact a conspiracy involving hunting guide permits to prevent such a thing. The same government that has, in the past, been entirely shy and opposed to wiping entire people groups from the map and allowing species to go extinct in exchange for oil and mineral extraction is going...oh I can't keep it up. You people need to get a life.

I at certain times even recorded some mindless thoughts of trolls. Useful , much like the tits on a boar hog. I want you to know that people that constantly have negative input about anything is the only reason more people don't post close interacting videos online, we keep them closely guarded, we are dealing with several types of these big hairy creatures all having abilities that are not within the scope of the average human beings understanding. This is an educated guess, but their population have jumped way way up to fast to be a natural occurrence, more and more of them have been caught trying to breach the securities put in place to protect our nuclear power plants twice i am told they made it into the buildings, question is why? if we don't learn everything we can now about possible hidden agendas , it won't do us any good after the fact. We have found some of them can read write, and have quite the vocabularies, someone taught them to understand our english for a specific reason. I have no doubt that they have been in our nation's capital and oval office. I have been interacting with the same clan for 48 years, they are nothing like the ones running around hiding behind trees scaring people to the point of shock, this is why we know their are many types at least 4. You only need to see one shape shift one time to put the fear of god in you quick, they are limited only by their own imagination, my worry is what if they shape shifted into one of those folks working around nuclear power plants or missile silos ? If some of them are what we think their origins may be than radiation will have no effect on them at all, they are an extremely complicated creature, that can create matter from thin air, DNA says they are 1/2 prehistoric brown bear, 1/4 human female and 1/4 unknown, ruling out a natural creature , someone made them@@bigfootswatching9986

Chris I think your exactly on point about why the first guides didn't even want to admit anything because of a mix of business concerns and small towns/community pressure. Simple truth is there is so much in the world we don't know about or understand and a fair number just don't want to admit things don't always fit our preconceptions about the wider world.

As a writer, author and storyteller myself, I recognise that truth is mostly a subjective experience even if it may have objective components. I would welcome any addition of paranormal, or out-of-the-ordinary experiences that folk have had in the past and wish for you to re-tell their stories. As long as hiking, and a sense of the outdoors, is still a core component.

Nothing to be a fraid of. In fact I leave treats on them. They're also building them next to our cabin near Salt Lake City. We exchange gifts with them every summer when the cabin opens up from June-Oct.

Hi Chris just wanted to say I love all your videos. Something that got me thinking, I don't doubt there's something out there from what I've notice from these bigfoot encounters is, they see us also as predators hunting and fishing the same game they survive off of which is why they appear pissed when they see us. I personally believe they much rather chase us out of there territory then to cause direct harm to us. Thats just my take on it all.

Another great story, Chris and from such a beautiful place. Native American men used to build such structures when on hunting trips, and I've seen remnants of those hidden in deep timber. Sometimes you don't want to declare your presence. I've also seen more recently built "tipi-like" structures I presume to have been made by people. It is the perfect shelter design. Few topics are more interesting than Sasquatch but I understand your desire to expand the subject matter. How about wild animal stories? There are millions about bears alone. Keep hiking!

I've done my fair share of hiking/backpacking in Colorado and have come across maybe two structures that I thought were pretty cool. I always thought they were most likely man made for camping or maybe a local hunter's blind. One was made of pine bows having long lost their needles, but in a very impressive dome shape. It was at the base of a spruce tree but not connected to it, except for a bent branch leaning against the tree. The bow branches were sort of intertwined with several layers I'd call it. It was quite sturdy. The other one also at the base of a spruce used a long bottom branch that was good size and had lodgepole like members leaned up against the long branch. The lodgepoles were maybe 6' to 8' long and alternated sides of the branch. Those farthest out had fallen to the ground, but the remaining ones were pretty stable. It would have taken awhile to build either one, so I assumed it was someone who planned to use it for a time.

Love, love, love Bigfoot stories! They are by far my favorite. And I like hearing real life stories about anything supernatural or paranormal, like what goes on in haunted, abandoned buildings. And if you could present some video to back it up. Stuff like that. Thanks so much, Chris. You are a great storyteller.

I've hunted elk in the area that he was talking about in Colorado. I never saw or heard anything unusual, but it is definitely rugged, remote country.

Thanks, Chris!! Im really late in watching this week, been taking care of mom--doctor's and luncheons; she's 89 on Aug. 19. This video is a wonderful story as always! We visited Gunnison about five years ago and our take from the drive we took was the area seemed sparsely populated and a bit wild; we can totally see sasquatch in that area. Have a great week!

One of the good encounters, thanks Chris. Appreciate your episodes as always and stop and take a break while you're hiking😂 I wonder what they would do if a person would wave at them and beckon them to come closer. I guess it would depend on what kind they were. Well I'm out of here before they get me😮 thanks much and see you down the trail somewhere.❤

That's funny when you said "Canada" for where Grizzlies are! It's true though! I've travelled, lived, worked, hunted, fished in almost every single Canadian province and territory except for Newfoundland, and wherever I went I saw Grizzlies or at least evidence that one or many was out and about! . . . From a distance, a standing Grizzly can be mistaken for a sasquatch, but a key tell is the short legs. Short legs, bear. Long legs, sasquatch.

During the 2008 ice storm, when I had my sighting, the homes in the area where I delivered newspapers were built right into heavy woods that extended from Lunenburg, Massachusetts, way up into Canada. In the years that have passed, the woods have been thinned nearer the homes. There are still heavily wooded areas, but not right up to the houses anymore. Considering the preference for bring hidden, it's understandable. I'll tell you, seeing it once is more than enough!!! 🙏❤🙄

I absolutely love your stories. They are told from a realist perspective without sensationalism. I really appreciate that. Personally, I have no problem believing in things; I am a nurse, and I always rationalize that we cannot see bacteria with the naked eye, but yet we know they are there. I wonder if you know anything about the Ozark mountains in Arkansas and Missouri. I also would love your tips on being safe with hiking, beginning exploring/getting started properly - i.e - what should any hiker have on them routinely? Not so much worried about cryptids - well unless it’s relevant. But the mountains and wilderness are not something all of us are necessarily prepared for. Anyway….Thanks for your contributions and stories.
