This is a great setup! Lots of work to both set it up and keep it maintained. I recognize all the work that you have put into this processing and storage area. I have a 3560... thinking of trading it in on a 4060 just for a small bump in overall HP, and to put to rest an ongoing issue of discovering one thing after another that was incorrectly done, or not none at all to my L3560 when it was serviced by the dealer I erroneously purchased it from and had it repaired through (Whites Farm Supply in Canastota NY in July of 2020. But I digress... Your 4060 is a beautiful machine there! Great review, lots of comments that will help folks choose between options. I purchased my Kubota

A cord of wood is 8 ft by 4ft by 16 inches... Like that wedge on the splitter it's huge.. nice pile of firewood

Cord of wood 8 ft x 4 ft x 4 ft or 128 cubic feet. That's what a cord is in PA. Your measurements are a face cord which is also 1/3 of a cord. 8 ft x 4 ft x 1.33 ft (16")= 42.65 cubic feet. This amount is common for those selling firewood. In PA it is a law that firewood is sold as a cord or fraction of a cord. That's why retailers selling bundles usually have a label showing 1/128 of a cord or 1 cubic foot. I suppose different areas use their own definitions, but I know what a cord is where I live.

Could you please provide where you purchased the aftermarket custom steps on your tractor. Thanks

Specialty repairs and custom mods. Just search and you will find Paul and Kathy Short. This guy (and gal) have some fantastic add ons for Kubota tractors.
