I checked out a bunch of countries like Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania, Rwanda, Kenya and more. But they didn't do it for me. I ended up in South Africa in 2015, and now I'm a legit citizen. South Africa is dope for many reasons: best healthcare in Africa, top-notch universities, booming economy, cheap living, mad business opportunities, and awesome quality of life and more. And each state has its own vibe. Jozi is lit. Cape Town is chill and scenic. Mpumalanga is wild. Pretoria is balanced, and that's where I'm at right now. South Africa is lit. It’s got everything the US has, and more. Trust me, I’ve been chilling here for 8 years.

Based off your situation you should be able to see which/if any, you qualify for. We used the retiree visa because my husband is retired and receives a pension each month so you can see which one aligns with your current situation
