Tayllor congrats to you and your family on achieving your first year!! You guys have been instrumental in my anticipated move to SA coming in 1st half of 2025. I appreciate your continued content. I wish you and your family continued success and much blessings going forward.

13:32 Thank you for this and I’m super happy for you guys! Can yall make a video on the financial nuts and bolts of moving to SA. How did you raise the money to get there? How are you being sustained while you’re there? Or do you have a unique situation (military, inheritance, etc.). I can’t find much content covering this in detail. Maybe because finances are a very personal topic. Blessings in the new year!!!
I'm so happy for you guys! This is encouraging for me. I really want to travel abroad. Thank you for sharing. I pray you continue to heal from the loss of your mom, I know the pain.
Congratulations being on the Motherland for one year and many many more to come. It’s such a blessing for our ppl to come back home and able to stay home. 🎉🎉🎉 Your glowing..!! Blessing to you and your family.!🫶🏽💜
🎉congratulations sisi, I'm glad to see you back. We haven't spoke in awhile because of the situation, but now since the last time we spoke my daughter and I relocated back to Florida. When you get time hit me up. Happy to see everything is back on track.

Oh wow, I am so pleased to hear that you are still loving South Africa ❤😊❤ South Africa loves you back!!! 😊 While your babies are still little may I suggest you give Cape Town a try for the next year? You can always relocate back to Jozi if you don't like here which I doubt lol because, if community is what you are looking for you will definitely find it here. And although Cape Town can be crazy expensive in certain spots, you don't need to live in those areas. We have developing gated neighborhoods popping up in Blouberg strand/Table view (ocean views) and the Suburbs are also much more affordable. 😊 Can't wait to see more of your content. ❤
Cape Town is somewhere we have been talking about moving to. I agree with trying it out bc we can definitely move back, plus we want to explore other areas. Maybe after this year we may end up there 😊 thanks for watching !
Hi. Have watched your videos and thanks so much for sharing! I too have been considering SA/Johannesburg but recently found out they have a 41% income tax rate. Is this true? Do you know if it apply to residents or is it only citizens? Thanks
I honestly haven’t looked, our income comes from America and isn’t taxable. But I believe they do have a higher tax rate depending on your income. Pretty sure it applies to anyone who’s making money in Rand, but I could be wrong
There are different tax brackets depending on income levels.... 41% is the highest tax bracket. Tax is payable by SA residents on their income (irrespective of where it was sourced). Fir non-residents, tax will only be payable in income (incuding capital gains) sourced within SA including. There are a lot of technicalities around the rax regime, I would suggest you consult with a tax practitioner to be certain as it relates to facts. All the best with your plans.
@MrMiagi_GP Thanks for replying! I've heard so many things and can't get a clear answer. But what you indicated makes sense and ill research further. Take care!
In SA we have Tax system called PAYE(pay as you earn), it taxes those who earn a less and those who earn more in line with high earnings bracket. An individual earning about R 7 000.00 ($380) is not liable for income tax. The 41% is a return expected from highest earning South Africans. If you as an American citizen, you will pay taxes in the US, even if you accumulate income in SA. Be aware that profits accumulated beyond the US are considered in line to offshore investments, if you don't inform the fed of this income could be tax evasion, just make sure. South Africa is not allowed to tax income tax on US citizens, even if you have a double citizenship through residency or retirement, Only...if you completely relinquish you US citizenship, that 41% will apply.
I don’t feel the need to highlight the shortcomings of SA because unfortunately the media already has done that and there’s countless articles you can read. But my channel is from my perspective and I don’t have many negatives to share
But Taylor why don't you comunicate with other African American who are here in south Africa like big sbuda, big jabu ,asad, the real south Africa sibu, thare so many of them
Hay wena Sbusiso. Maybe you always caught up with ama slay queen, that's why. There's still a lot of other South African women just wanting love and not your money. Travel within the country to other provinces you'll see and find that woman that wants you for love.
