I just bought a used X-T1 as a backup to my X-T2. So, I can't wait to test it against the X-T2 which does a superb job with my landscape/street photos. I have 3 great lenses as well and will be getting a completely manual focus one down the road. Thanks for the video.

With all the firmware updates they transformed this camera in a XT1 II or something. When the model came out it did not have an electronisc shutter for instance.

Good video! Between the X-T1 and the X-E1, which would you recommend the most? Considering that now you have tested most of the X-Trans sensors, would the X-Trans 1 in the X-E1 outweighs the feel and performance of an X-T1?
I am looking for a spare Fuji camera to pair with cheap/vintage lenses that I can take in the (not so safe) streets of my city.

I would say xt1 it has bether peaking.

Each Fuji X-Trans sensor generation has a slightly different color rendering and it comes down to personal preferences which one you like the most 🤷🏼. Older sensors gen I and II are slightly warmer and gen III and up are slightly colder, it is most apparent in the way they render red colors.

i don't think you can generally say that some are warmer since some tones acts different on dirrefent sensors.
My skinetones are colder on xtrans 1

    Hej Kim,
Jag har en xpro1 och xt1 och föredrar xpro1 sensorn och "form factor" + den optiska sökaren. Annars xt1 är mycket bättre när jag använder vintage objektiv. Riktigt bra videor du gör! Ha det bra!

    • @Kim_Alexander
      @Kim_Alexander  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

500 USD sounds much tho it's brand new so perhaps its a good price. You could probably get an XT2 for the same cash.
However both the X-T1 and X-T4 are good cameras that can make amazing images.
Don't forget the lenses, if its not a budget question perhaps the X-T4 with nice lens is the way to go.
But if its a budget question i rather take an X-T1 with a good lens.
Personally i think X-T3 is best value for the money at the money when it comes to Fuji film, i bought mine for 600UDS

A good photo is taken by the photographer... and not the camera... the X-T1 is more than enough. A good meal is made by the cook and not the pan! But how we allow ourselves to be manipulated by the industry!
I will never sell my two X-T1's!

highly subjective, personally I don't aggre the x trans are over all bether. I used the super ccd when they were new but also in modern times I even made a film on the S5
At certain points those sensors are better, especially on skintones. But overall I think x-trans are bether
but I wish that ccd was aroudb longer, just imagine if we keep develop those what we might had :)

Fuji X-T3, made in China, best value for the money? ... sorry, no way! Fujis cameras are all great, but perhaps X-T1 an X-T2 are the greatest of all. X-T3,4 & 5 are more sofisticated, but the best was the original and at most the successor. Unfortunately, with these cameras the release has its life over, more or less in most of times and at least Fuji can no longer repair an X-T1.
