Brilliant video Guys. My Gran was born in Canada & lived there for 36 years. They used to camp and she waxed lyrical about Banff. Wow, what a place! Cheers from UK, John.
What a beautiful area. My husband and I were in Lake Louse one year in December and stayed in that huge hotel. We went on a sleigh ride down the side of the lake, at night. The sleigh pulled out onto the frozen lake to turn around. I have to admit I was a bit nervous. But it was so beautiful to see all those mountains surrounding in their blankets on snow.
It is incredible! We cannot wait to go back in a van one day and just wake up to all of these views 😍 aw wow that must have been amazing, especially in December! Very snowy!
I imagine that you were in Banff back in April due to all the snow and frozen lakes. The town did not look too busy as it is off-season but I hope that you get the opportunity to visit again in the summer. Thank-you for choosing this small part of Alberta, Canada for your visit!
Wow. Nature's best artwork come to life. Those mountains almost don't look real. Great job on the slopes guys. Trust me, you did far better than I'd do for my first time. The tubing looks more fun (and less accident prone LOL)! Awww yeah how adorable are those wolf doggies! Cheers for the lack of bear encounters :)
It doesn't get much more beautiful than Banff 😍 it all just looks made up doesnt it?! haha! Yeah although did you see the speed you get up to on the tubing?!
I used to be in Alberta every September to shoot (photography, not gun, LOL) the Spruce Meadows Masters. When the horse show wrapped, it would be off to Canmore, Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper. So beautiful. Such great people. I love Alberta and it looks like you two did as well.
@@highlands2hammocks in September you can be wearing shorts and tshirts in the morning, winter coat and gloves in afternoon and something in between in the evening. But it’s still always amazing and the mountains are forever a jaw dropper.
Awesome video! Was really hoping to see more than one video from Canada, and the drive to Jasper and back, but still enjoyed the video. Hope you go back to Canada soon!
Aw we did do that drive but it was a flying visit and not much happened so couldn’t include it in the vlog 🙃 we have all of our highlights on our instagram though!
Hari Om My word, that was exhilerating! And as for the Wolfdogs... OMG, I don't think I could leave there. What darlings! Meanwhile, I have just parked up for three nights in the Three Lochs Forest Drive and am blessing out to birds, bees, trickling burn and whispering trees. A pretty good alternative! YAM xx
Aw they were too cute! A lot of work though so couldn’t own one haha 😆 I have added that spot to our map now and will be heading to it when we get time 😁 it looks beautiful!
@@dthomp06 what up keep, you have to pay for everything else once in the park, from camp grounds to parking and pretty much everything in between. but i am so glad you are happy paying, maybe they should double the price so you will be happier.
To be fair, the services and maintenance around the park are incredible. I would usually agree but I have been impressed by how good it is in North America, especially compared to services in the UK
@@highlands2hammocks At least your comment is fair, but for a lot of people that live local the tax is a burden and now also applies to provincial parks just outside of Banff. Either way glad you enjoyed your visit.
Yay! Gemma and Campbell in Banff! Never been there. I'll see what you see.
Hope you enjoy 😆 it was such an amazing place and we loved our trip 🥰

We were there in 2022 for a month absolutely loved it and will go back
Did you manage to go skiing at all? Would love to come back in summer again 😁
Alas no we were there in September so no snow and the bears had all ran away to sleep that’s why we need to go back in winter to ski or board
Glad you had an awesome time!
We did thank you!

Omg tubing looked so fun❤❤❤
Haha it was so fast 😂 wasn’t expecting it to be so violent!
I was there in February, the skiing was amazing.
It really is! Where did you ski?
@@highlands2hammocks we skied Lake Louise and Sunshine. Our home mountain is Whistler, but I love going to other mountains too.
Was there last year, stunning
What time of year did you get over there? We would love to visit again when it is all thawed out 😁
@@highlands2hammocksthe summer’s are crazy busy.
So amazing epik
Thank you 😁
Skiing tip #1: look where you want to go ~ ie: don’t look at the tree (Unless you want to hit the tree) Look BETWEEN the trees.
Haha good tip 😆 I was just looking at my feet 😂
Been there so many times. Never board
It’s a beautiful place! What was your highlight?
It's sad that you have to pay $150 to visit God's creation. All that money is just a tax.
That “tax” pays for upkeep. When it gives you access to so much for 1 year, it’s a bargain.
