Ik I’m 4 years late but on 3:51 for me on my laptop screen it doesn’t show neither of that and I’m wondering what I can do (I download this app like radon thing for my graphics card and when I restart it the laptop screen just kept on blinking to black and the laptop screen so I did this with those two buttons and it worked so a few weeks later like 2 weeks later it start doing it again so I did the thing I did at first and it still does the black screen thing so I deleted the thing I downloaded it for it to happen and it still does that. So basically I am stuck and I don’t know what to do if you see this can you try and help)

Mine does have a type c plug but when I plugged one in it said "Not charging, please refer to the charger that came with the PC"

Thank you so much for the video I was able to reset my N5000 HP and my Toshiba Satellite. I had tried another video from someone else and it did not work. It went easier for me the way u explained by first going through searching Reset on the laptop.
If we have installed antivirus will it also be removed with the other data

I wonder if you can help me out with my problem. So the thing is I tried to reset my pc selecting keeping the files option . Actually what happened is,it did reset the pc but I’m stuck on a screen loop where it says “installing windows 64%,Don’t turn off your pc. This will take a while . And keep restarting and giving me the same message all over again. Any help would be appreciated.

For me it says that my drive is locked and I can't do anything. Only cancel which brings me back to the "choose an option" screen. Can you help?

after my reset I did not get that window asking me about country, language etc. It opens up and shows Administrator " then the preparing windows progress - after a time of that it shows me a desktop with nothing on it - click the start icon in bottom left and it does not open anything. It's like no programs there at all.

Thank you so much! Using this in 2023. I wasn't able to reset my HP Pavillion- its over 6 years old and last ran on Windows 7. It works but runs very slow. For some reason, the start prompt does not show "reset this pc" and holding Shift while restarting is not working either. However, I was able to reset my old Dell using the instructions. This tutorial was extremely helpful. Thank you!

I was gonna call HP for the Smart Friend, but they wanna charge $50 plus a monthly fee. My laptop was recently hacked. Does this help to remove any possible hidden spyware? Also is it necessary to change my password on Microsoft after being hacked or no?
