How I restore rusty Lionel track

This video is about a basic way to restore and clean rusty track. Sometimes this method works better than others, I find it to be the most effective one so far. Hey switch to a larger bristle brush with a shaft on it that you put in a drill.. lot bigger and faster. They have like super stuff plastic bristles on them

I personally use a track scrubber and it gets a lot of the rust off followed by a white vinegar soak to finish it off.

You can use vinegar 5% works great soak your track for 24 hours and then wipe it of and dry in the oven on 200 degrees for 1 hour
