Honestly, it’s so much better. I just got a short curly cut because I wanted to save my curls and be nicer to my hair which meant cutting off a bunch of damage. My goal was long curls but since the cut I want to keep it short and shaggy. I get so many compliments and seeing my curls ACTUALLY look like curls made me cry happy tears lol

Dang girl, I think this is your best blowout yet! Since losing a bunch of hair while going through menopause (yay me) I don't use a round brush anymore, but man I do love a good blowout.
I'm so sorry about the hair loss! I survived menopause without hair loss, thank goodness, but my waistline may never be the same. ;) Hair loss is also associated with low thyroid, which is common in women our age group/menopause. If your doctor hasn't tested you, it might be a good thing to mention, just in case. :)

Hair looks amazing! How do you keep it looking smooth once you hit the outdoors? When I blow out , hair initially looks great but the second I go outside, poof! Any bit of humidity in the air hits my hair and the puffy, frizzy look takes over.

Mel, I really love your hair. I have curly hair as well. I’m in my mid 50s and noticing my hair is obviously getting a bit thinner and I wonder if you could recommend a good shampoo or supplements to help thicken my hair and have less shedding. Thanks a bunch and I look forward to hearing from you.

I have a bit longer than shoulder length hair with a wave, but have some curly hair after my son was born. You just explained why I get frizzy hair when trying to use the round attachment. Thank you for the tips. I actually use K18 and have tried living proof as well. I stopped ordering Living proof when Epres came out. That is now my go to bond treatment. Still use K18 occasionally but Epres is a pre wash treatment that really works for my routine. I would love some tips to add curl to my wavy hair for a different look. I have a Dyson air wrap and need to look into these new attachments!

This is the BEST look on your Bob! Each styling video keeps getting better and better! I cut my very very long till my butt long hair to a Bob a little shorter than yours last Thursday so I'm very excited to try this but I don't have Dyson and my bottom layers are hella short an inch lol so might have to wait till they get a little long to do it
Yes, please. A side by side comparison. I’m thinking of investing in a Dyson, but I can’t afford both (frankly, affording one is hard to swallow). I normally air dry, but it takes so much time. I would like to be able to cut my drying time. I generally keep it curly because I like to keep it natural. Also, I’m no good at holding a hairbrush and blow dryer at the same time. It would be nice to occasionally do a decent blow out. So, I would love to hear a comparison from you and which you think is the better investment. Thanks.

Please do a comparison of both diffusers! I think a lot of us curlies didn’t buy the airwrap because we can’t use it when we wear our hair natural
I considered getting the supersonic but I couldn’t justify the price when the attachments don’t make straightening particularly easy (like the airwrap).
An airwrap with a diffuser attachment sounds like the perfect device

Hi! Can you review the diffuser tool in the new air wrap?
I actually rough dry my curly hair(3b). I just do it on medium speed. I love the results because I get the same definition compared to when I diffuse my hair but more volume as my curls don't really dry stuck together(like it does if I diffuse). The curls dry separately(so if I shake my head, you see each individual curl moving instead of a big mass of hair just moving in one direction). And it doesn't create frizz as the medium speed setting on my blow dryer is really gentle
Do you apply gel to hold your curl pattern before blow drying? I want to try this!
@@staceyannbourgeois1326 Yello there, and no. I only use mousse(the John Frieda frizz ease dream curls with heat protection curl reviver mousse)
Oh! And when you do it make sure you're drying your hair from different angles(just flip it every few minutes) and start with your routes then work your way down your hair
And of course the hair it has alot of body/volume😊looks very pretty.

Oh my gosh, you look so sophisticated! And stunning, as always! I didn't realize before how much you looked like Sohpia Loren, but you totally do now! Love the new Dyson. Where was it when I straightened my hair, then hot rollered it during the 80's and 90's? I loved my hair that way! But I'm too lazy to do it now, plus silver hair does better with less heat, so no blowouts for me, anymore. I also have to add that being a "woman of a certain age", when blowdryers were first introduced in my freshman year of high school (yes, I'm that old!), they had brush attachments on them. Way handy for us curlies living in a world of stylists who had somehow never seen curly hair before! A few years later, they stopped making them, and we had to learn how to hold a round brush in one hand and the blowdryer in the other. I never did well with that, thus the hot rollers. Although my hair loves hot rollers! And they're so easy! Put them in, do your make-up while they cool (keeps your hair out of your face), take them out and done! Curling irons never did anything for me. Too much work and my hair ignored them. Hot rollers will always be my fave!

Love watchign your videos. I am actually looking for opposite. I like my blow dry not to bouncy but enough to give regular blow dry look. But after amazing blow dry wih dyson or revlon, my ends starts turning outwards. ( Keep in mind i always try to blow in inwards direction). Plz do the video for this .. 😍

This is super helpful and I am so glad Dyson added the large round brush attachment and diffuser! This video helped me realize that, like your hair, my hair needs more styling products to help keep the frizz away when blow drying so that was super validating ❤❤❤

Not as short as you but above the shoulders which is short for me who has always had hair down to my mid back. Getting used to all the volume I have now, it feels almost too fluffy but I’m getting sooooo many compliments. 😊
