My sweet husband got me a Dyson Airwrap for Christmas and I'm about to use it for the first time. My hair is more like Mel's but not quite as curly. Thanks so much for this video. I can't wait to see how my hair looks!
I had my hair cut into a bob, and I've never loved my hair more! So, I relate more to Mel, but I do not straighten my hair. Up until 2 years ago, I had straight hair, and I've always had great body, though. After I lost my hair from illness, it grew back in curly, so I've been trying to keep the curls as much as I can. I've read my hair can end up, eventually, growing out the way it was before, and that could be happening, so I'm not going to rush it by blowing it out. But I will say, Mel and Amanda have such beautiful faces that I can't imagine any hairstyle that would not look fabulous on these gorgeous women! Keep up the great work, ladies!! ♥
Girl!!! You need to cut those bottles!! The amount of products still left in there will blow your mind. Lol, my grandmother used to cut them and always tell my sister and I that we just threw out 5 days worth of products. Lol
I bought the airwrap 2 weeks ago cause of you. Even tho I have like 3c(?) hair and my roots don't get completely straight like with a straightener, I love the airwrap. I just have to figure out how to use it to get the best results. Practice makes perfect.
I love how your hair came out with this Airwrap. I just got the long diffuse Airwrap and I must say I love the diffuser on it even more than the supersonic. My hair doesn’t feel as dry and less frizz . I only blew it out once for a voluminous blowdry and the big round brush is so much better for my hair. I had the original Airwrap and I gave it to my daughter bec her hair is naturally straight and fine. I’m really loving the new curly version Airwrap so glad I bought it. I would love to see a video how you use the curling barrels on curly hair because that’s where I’m confused because I can’t use it on damp hair because my frizz comes thru unless I smooth it out first but you have to use it on damp hair not dry so I’m sure I’m not the only one that would love a lesson on this please 🙏
Oh boy, my hair definitely is more like Amanda's. It's not quite as curly. I'd say my hair is 2C - 3A type, so hers is curlier, but if I blow it out straight, even if I use a flat iron of sort, it will look like Amanda's straight also. I don't bother to straighten my hair because it's so much work and it just never looks good. Besides, the easier the better. Funny thing, I'm 50 years old and I've had straight hair with the slightest bend in my hair all my life. It was never pin straight, but I'd just wash and usually air dry with no products, and it would dry straight. About four years ago, my hair turned wavy, and it's just gotten more and more wave/curl to it since then. Nothing's changed. I am on a lot of medications, but they've been the same for about 8 years now. I don't know, but I like it and everyone else seems to like it.
Always enjoy the videos ! I’m Not a blow out girl but as curly hair queens I love we have the option for versatility 😉 because of Mell she inspired me to cut my hair into a Bob and I have to say I legit wanted to cry thinking I made a mistake LOL so now I’m just trying to stick to my decision and rock this Bob ! LOL
I don’t know if you’ve made a video on this in the past but I’m interested in how the Dyson air wrap curled attachments work on your hair! I feel like it’s the main attraction of the air wrap but my hair is so thick and curly I just don’t know if I’d ever get it to work
Mell, you look so much like your (ponytail) mom when you were waiting for your hair to cool!! Amanda, as always, I relate to you. 45 minutes is the minimum time commitment for smoothing out my long curly hair! Amanda, do you ever use the curling barrels on the airwrap?
Love both of your heads of hair, so beautiful! I became a curly girl a couple of years ago so have been afraid to try blowing out my hair because I am still trying to find the best products and look. But having said that I enjoyed this video so much and learned a lot as well. With a new bob that is just brushing my shoulders (a bit of grow out) I think it will be fun to try doing this style on my next wash day! Thanks for the courage to try a blow out and such good information overall.
You both are very beautiful and have gorgeous hair ❤Mel makes me wanna chop off my hair but i probably could neva pull it off. N I have 2a straight/wavy hair in the front/side and 2bc in the back of my head. Which I can never keep “curly” as too much product weighs it down so it would be straight the majority of the time anyway 🤷🏻♀️
The new pink color is really making me interested in this!! 😮😮 I just tried the air straight and I think it fried my hair so I’m a little nervous to try this too.
I love this video! I actually just tried a dupe for the Dyson Air wrap. I know I could do better. My hair gets really frizzy. I never known how to blow dry my hair. I can't get it 100% frizz free and smooth as I don't have good grip and mobility because of my arthritis
I LOVE Y'ALL 2 LADIES SO MUCH!!!! MELL: What do u think of the Bounce Curl (Definition) Brush? The One Everyone's Talking About????? THANKS!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR N BE SAFE LADIES!!!!! XOXOX
I have the brush and I love it the most out of all the brushes I bought over the past 4 years. Tangle teezer , denman , denman paddle and curlkeeper ( two different versions ) bouncecurl clumps the best and makes the best curls on my hair
I have butt length hair and it takes my 45 minutes when I use my Revlon one step hair dryer 😂😂 I would love to own the shark hair dryer brush 😊❤😊❤ I always use leave in conditioner detangaling spray blow dry cream heat protection spray and hair oil I relate to Amanda every day hair
Ok Mell, right before I watched this video, I was on the Dyson website and could not find the Airwrap with the diffuser attachment. But your link above (Dyson Canada) has it. Wonder why? Not that I can afford to replace my Dyson hair dryer (or supplement it), but I was looking to see the price. So, I guess when I get ready, I’ll use your link. 😁
I have the Shark version… it has three settings for heat and blow… I have medium length coily hair… how hot and how much of a “blow” strength should I use? I’ve been trying it out, but the results aren’t too smooth and frizzy. I used to use the Revlon brush on the hottest setting and it was great and fast, and now there are too many options.. lol… help😜
Hi Mell, first I would like to thank you for all your helpful videos. I have definitely learned a lot about how to handle my textured hair. I really like my Dyson hairdryer to diffuse my hair and now you have convinced me to purchase the Dyson Airwrap. I do have a question about hairdryers and traveling abroad. I live in the United States and I am planning to go to Italy in a couple of months. I was told that my Dyson will not work and if I use an adapter it will void the warranty. Could you please recommend a hair dryer that will work in Italy and maybe an adapter that you could recommend for travel especially to Italy. Thank you in advance.
I always use all my appliances with adapters when traveling. I have the apple set of adapters, works everywhere. I never knew it would void any warranty’s. I never had any problems so I think that’s just something they say to find new ways to avoid responsibility. How would they know you used with an adapter anyway if you don’t tell. I travel a lot and never heard about such things. I don’t currently own an airwrap but know a lot of people that travels with them so I asked around and none of them had any issues. They are the reason I want one. You can use adapters on all kinds of fine technology items.
Hey mel I have curly and wavy hair, half up is 3a, half down is 2b-2c hope you make video on what hair cut best for this kind of hair cause it's frustrated with layer half curly half wavy it's just weird... 😅 I mean half up is only 1/5 of the hair tho 😢 the rest is wavy...
I go to a curly cut salon and would like a haircut like yours! I’m afraid it will be too long and not full like yours especially in back and crown What haircut do I ask for??
Having literally test subjects with sisters is next level content. Btw idk if you’re into nyc vlogs but if so, you might like mine! I’d be sooo grateful if you swung by and took a peek. 🙏 Stick around if you like!
Dyson needs to redo those round brushes ! It’s OVER DUE for an update Dyson! Those round brushes are very poor quality. I wish that had real boar/nylon brush attachments for the price you pay.
What the heck is a blow out anyway? You're basically drying your hair with a brush. People have been drying their hair like that for decades. What makes a blowout special?

Me too ahh I still grab my old hair tools even though I have the airwrap. Hope I start to use it more since it’s so expensive lol
How long does it take you to do your entire hair?
I have not mastered my airwrap yet, so thanks for this!
I love how your hair came out with this Airwrap. I just got the long diffuse Airwrap and I must say I love the diffuser on it even more than the supersonic. Best Dyson air wrap tutorial for curly hair! Thank you!!
Amaaaazing tips, even for someone with 2a waves and fine hair 🫶🏻
I am definitely influenced on the Bob!
I relate to you since I have a bob. Thanks to you both for sharing your tips. Your videos are always filled with useful information.
I went to get a trim and left with a bob. Good thing Mell has all these videos.
You two are adorable. Love the sister banter! ❤😊

As soon as I thought of blowing out my newly cut, short curly bob 💇🏻♀️
the seesters come through 👏🏼😂
This was helpful! Both of you have the most beautiful hair!
I have really enjoyed my Dyson Airwrap. I bought it a year ago and I am so happy that I did!
You both have beautiful hair, looks fantastic curly or smooth. I do both too, with your videos I learn how to do both , thank you ❤
Can we please see a video of you comparing the dyson supersonic to the airwrap diffuser? Not sure which to choose 🥲❤
Both blowouts look stunning! The Dyson seems really amazing with all the attachment options.
I don’t know if you’ve made a video on this in the past but I’m interested in how the Dyson air wrap curled attachments work on your hair! I feel like it’s the main attraction of the air wrap but my hair is so thick and curly I just don’t know if I’d ever get it to work
I can’t thank you guys enough for making this tutorial!! I can’t wait to recreate this on my hair.
Mell, you look so much like your (ponytail) mom when you were waiting for your hair to cool!!
Amanda, as always, I relate to you. 45 minutes is the minimum time commitment for smoothing out my long curly hair! Amanda, do you ever use the curling barrels on the airwrap?
I learned soooo much from this video thank you Mell and Amanda.
Love it! I relate to Amanda. Learned a lot and can’t wait to open my dyson and start achieving these looks.
Your hairs look so healthy 😍 I'm obsessed! I am hoping to be able to buy this soon 😩😩
I just the air warp and omg thank for this video!! I have medium length and it came out beautifully with your technique!!!!!
Mel, would love if you could do a video using the dyson airwrap CURLING BARRELS on your short bob . . . please! 🙂
This was extremely helpful! I was wondering how this product worked and if it would work on curly hair! Thank you for the demo!!

This was the most informative and helpful video ever!!! Thank you!!! This gives me hope that I can style my hair and keep it healthy. ❤❤❤
I just cut my curly bob and got the Dyson so I can try this look!
Thanks for posting a guide, I have the same hair type as you, Mel! Do y'all have any tips for preserving the style?
You both are very beautiful and have gorgeous hair ❤Mel makes me wanna chop off my hair but i probably could neva pull it off. When do you use K18 and living proof?
The new pink color is really making me interested in this!! 😮😮 I just tried the air straight and I think it fried my hair so I’m a little nervous to try this too.
Love the way these styles look on you 🤩
Thank you. So many helpful tips 💕 you both look amazing 😍

Happy Texture Thursday!! Love a seester video!! Happy holidays!! Much love and happiness!! Xoxo 😘
I love this video! I actually just tried a dupe for the Dyson Air wrap. I know I could do better. My hair gets really frizzy. I never known how to blow dry my hair. I can't get it 100% frizz free and smooth as I don't have good grip and mobility because of my arthritis

Congratulations Amanda! You look so different though!!! Haven't seen you in a while
I want you guys to do a compare to sharp vrs Dyson
"My arms hurt" why I never straighten my hair
You guys look gorgeous! Love the blowout style and the volume turnout on both of you guys.
Any chance of doing an update to your winter hat/accessories recommendations of 4 years ago?
I have butt length hair and it takes my 45 minutes when I use my Revlon one step hair dryer 😂😂
I would love to own the shark hair dryer brush 😊❤😊❤
I always use leave in conditioner detangaling spray blow dry cream heat protection spray and hair oil I relate to Amanda every day hair
Please do a video using the curl attachments.
Haha love the seester squabbling in the blooper section 😂
You two make me wish I had a sister! And a bob, and a Dyson, but those two I can get 😂
Ok Mell, right before I watched this video, I was on the Dyson website and could not find the Airwrap with the diffuser attachment. But your link above (Dyson Canada) has it. Wonder why? Not that I can afford to replace my Dyson hair dryer (or supplement it), but I was looking to see the price. So, I guess when I get ready, I’ll use your link. 😁
Lol y'all are a damn mess and I am here for it all day long!!! Favorite curly hair channel by a mile
how do you beat humidity and make the blowout last? also would like to see if you can dry your hair straight with the airwrap. thanks!
I have the Shark version… it has three settings for heat and blow… I have medium length coily hair… how hot and how much of a “blow” strength should I use? I’ve been trying it out, but the results aren’t too smooth and frizzy. I used to use the Revlon brush on the hottest setting and it was great and fast, and now there are too many options.. lol… help😜
Is there a method for creating a curly quiff haircut? Just wondering because I've considered it for a while now.

What color has Amanda used to achieve this it’s beautiful would you mind sharing the color and brand?
Hey mel I have curly and wavy hair, half up is 3a, half down is 2b-2c hope you make video on what hair cut best for this kind of hair cause it's frustrated with layer half curly half wavy it's just weird... 😅 I mean half up is only 1/5 of the hair tho 😢 the rest is wavy...
How do you protect this overnight?
I go to a curly cut salon and would like a haircut like yours!
I’m afraid it will be too long and not full like yours especially in back and crown
What haircut do I ask for??
Love you ladies!! Is their a discount code for the Dyson? ❤
I just got my new Dyson and was craving for a video like that!! 🎉🎉🎉
Looks great guys, can you try out the "silicon mix" Dominican products range and let us know what you think? ❤️
Can you please do a video on how to get a slick blowout (no volume) with dyson airwrap? Without having to use a hot iron?
when Mell said "without having a mental breakdown" i felt that lmao
I'd love to see an updated version of you achieving a blow out without using the air wrap. Some of us cannot afford that tool or a Dyson in general😢
We're so luck to be part of both of your routines! ❤
Yea sorry that’s cheating. Amanda is not an avg Joe when she has a stylist sister who can jump in when her arms are tired 😂😂
Ikr, and also help with sections 😭😭
😂Average joe isn’t making a video timing the process
Her hair is soooooo long!
Such a blessing ❤
Please make a scalp oiling video
Mel what are your thoughts on shark flexstyle
Can you please show us how you both preserve your blowout overnight? ❤️
Ahahah! You guys are suchhhhh q vibe !!! ❤
I’ll take the 45 min. I need that Dyson
I didn’t like Dyson
Revlon brush sooooooo good
With revlon brush I need 45 minutes
With Dyson yesterday 2 hours 😢
I've never been so early 😍
we appreciate you!!
Have you tried the larger brush for shorter hair?
How do I keep my short blowout from looking newscastery- I always look like a newscaster when I do it
Team bob❤️
Your blowout both have smoother results without flat iron ,tighter curl pattern really challenging for smoother blowouts 😂.
What Mell said about using rollers should work.
My favorite Seeesturs
Having literally test subjects with sisters is next level content. Btw idk if you’re into nyc vlogs but if so, you might like mine! I’d be sooo grateful if you swung by and took a peek. 🙏 Stick around if you like!
Can we get an affordable blowout routine
you looked like mumzie when you were letting your hair set 😂
Hahahaha I use my old iphone as a clock too 😂😂
Dyson needs to redo those round brushes ! It’s OVER DUE for an update Dyson! Those round brushes are very poor quality. I wish that had real boar/nylon brush attachments for the price you pay.
💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻
Love you both, but these blowouts look like they will crumble in only 1% humidity… curly hair blowouts need styling iron imo to hold…
That's way too much time and I can feel my arms hurting.
Why does you hair blown out look like “the Rachael”
is it only me but i prefere mels hair longer dont watch as much now
Haha hair on MTV
What the heck is a blow out anyway? You're basically drying your hair with a brush. People have been drying their hair like that for decades. What makes a blowout special?
Hi there, may I know what type of hair towel you guys are using? Ty🫶🏻
