Hello everyone, this is how I prepare plantain fufu flour using hot water on the stove! I have made it as simple as I can and I hope you will be able to follow, it just needs a bit of practice. If you would rather prepare cocoyam flour it is the same method Ingredients: Africa's finest fufu flour Water: 2 litres + 1/2 cup cooking time about 10 minutes utensils: asanka tapoli
How I wish to be around to have some of this smooth stove top fufu. Yes the hot water prepp makes life easier. Wow the tapole made the shape so well, it looks authentic paa. Here with my Deer Soup.
My fufu always sticks, if I use too much water the consistency is no longer good. I despair every time.I do it exactly like you, Only in the end I no longer knead it outside the pot.I will try it tomorrow. Thanks for your video
Sis hmm I'm waiting for the day I'm going to use hot water for my fufu, I always mix it with cold water before I take to the fire oo 😃🤣,fufu for 5 I can eat half of it 🤣🤣😂looking soo inviting to enjoy sis😋👌🏽💕
Made fufu and egusi soup mind 🤯❤❤ can out bomb af before I had only tried at a restaurant and in Texas it’s so expensive and me and my hubby love it so much I had to learn how to make it. 😊❤❤ it’s definitely a food that makes my heart happy!
You just got a new re subscribe I am from the Caribbean we also eat fufu but we pond it in a wooden mortar .. but in America I use the box but you really did a good job in making fufu ❤❤❤
8 am Friday morning I made palm butter and okra stew by the time that was done last night I was too tired to make rice or food foo, never made foo foo before but I have a box. Found this video and now I am ready. Thank you so much for the easy tutorial. I wish I could show a picture once I'm done.
Thank you so much for this tutorial, this is easy to follow! Also, you are beautiful! I will be making this to serve with Egusi soup today, wish me luck :)
Beautifully explained. Did you boil the water first and let it cool down a bit? That 1/2 cup of warm water did you use all of it or did you add little bit at the time while you mixed fufu on the cooker.? What can I use instead of tapoli, I don’t have that ? Do you add any salt to it ? Have a great day 😊
Hii thank you for your recipe. I really would like to make some fufu too :) i actually have the flour, manioc flour i believe its called. But I really dont know the measurements.. maybe you can help me? I have like 800 gr and i dont know how much i need for 2 persons plus how much water?? I hope you can help. Thanks for your inspiration
I've notice on other fufu recipes that peolpe when cooking the fufu use hot water, i didnt, so maybe thats a mistake i make. I made it last weekend but it didnt come out so well. It looked like fufu but was sticky and somehow it was light the taste and feeling in mouth like it dindt had so much body🤷... but thank you wanting to help me!😀
Is this safer than using the real vegetable? I want to make this so bad but I hear the vegetable can be very toxic and I have an illness that makes me have an extremely weak immune system. Thank you!
