Yaaay! You're back! What a worker! What a pile of wood you gathered/cut/chopped! WOWZA!
19:02 the only question I have is can I come enjoy this beauty with you for a few days. Absolutely beautiful. First video here I’ll be back.
So happy to see this new video. I've thought of you and Dobby often the past few months, hoping you were both safe, healthy and happy. I had a feeling you stayed at or near the cabin. Never apologize for needing time for yourself and Dobby. That's important for each of us to do.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that and your support more then you know 🙏❤️
I agree 2000% I am so happy to see you both.
Bless you both
Do not ever apologise. You do not owe us anything. Live your life for you. We love your videos. They will come when you want to bring them to us and we will all watch them.
I actually gleefully yelled aloud “Tyler and Dobby, Yeah!” When I saw the thumbnail. So glad you’re both well and back at your gorgeous property. No questions, simply happy to see you both.
I did the same thing!
One of the few men that will survive the apocalypse.
Love love love your channel. Can you build a shed close to log road and store a 4 wheeler to drive up to the cabin? Thank you for being real about the ups and downs of life. And thank you for getting up and doing things your a rockstar. Hugs to you and Dobby.
So lovely to have you back.. I have no questions just pleased your OK.. Great to see Dobby just adorable.. I have thought of you both often.. But knew you would return when you were ready... There's nothing like time out solitude and peace.. You take care loves to Dobby x
Thank you so much Janet! Dobby missed you ❤️🐾
Glad you're ok. Solitude is good for the soul.
Brilliantly filmed & edited Tyler…that country of yours is hauntingly beautiful & I’ve never seen anyone work so hard to get their firewood. Give Dobby a hug for me 🤗
Glad to see you are alright.
What a wonderful place you are creating. Beautiful.
Wow! Your videography is SO good. The shots, the music, the quiet at the beginning all helped us connect to the beautiful nature and your spirit. Please don't apologize for being emotionally intelligent. Taking time to assess and check in with yourself to see how you are doing and what you need is so wise. I hope you have some kind of trusted support in your life! We just love your spirit and for bringing us along on your journey. It is so helpful. I would love to hear about how you planned your food for a long winter stay and how you plan for any potential, God forbid, injuries or illness. Please take good care!
Wonderful to see you pop up again in my feed, and please don't ever apologise for putting yourself first and recovering mentally, for without that, we just wouldn't be able to keep up with Dobby's antics (and yours).
Welcome back. Good to have you back. Looking forward to catching up on your photos and news. Dobbs is as cute as ever. Checking in with yourself is very important. No apology needed.
Welcome back. We're still here.
Great to see you two back, missed you. You must be pretty strong to be carrying those huge logs , keep warm and safe xx
Welcome back Tyler and Dobby!
No worries Tyler. So good to see you guys back. I've had my eye out for a new video along with everyone else. That's a lot of snow.
Excellent! Glad you’re both ok. Like most others, have been waiting and wondering if you’re both ok. 👍
Hey Tyler good to see you back. I for one don’t need an apology. I understand you needing some down time. I’m glad you took yours. Wishing you a comfortable and warm rest of the season. See you when we see you. Take your time no pressure here.
Living the dream. Looking at that blizzard like conditions I hope you have plenty of food and toilet paper stocked up there.
I hiked stuff in a few months ago. Getting a little low now but hoping with the current weather changes to plan a hike out start of April if not sooner.
🙏❤️
Seeing this new video made my day!! Wow, the snow was insane!
The snow overhanging the roof was abit surprising haha! I’m just happy everyone in the surrounding areas were okay. Hoping you enjoy the rest of your day! 🙏❤️
So happy to see a video! Keep up the good work. 😊
No need to apologize, your well being needs to come first. That drone footage is absolutely amazing. Glad to see you back in the groove. You two stay safe out there. Looking forward to catching up with you both. 🙏🙏
So glad to see Dobby and you are doing well! We wish you the best with your mental health it is a struggle for us all. But as you can see you have a great number of people who care about you even having never met! You are inspiring!!
My pups and I are glad to see you are both well.
Love your strength of character, perseverance, determination & resilience.
During that heavy snow, I bet you thought it would never end. It was pretty gutsy getting up on that roof to clear the snow. Good job. The physical activity of hauling and cutting that wood is great emotional therapy. You have time to think about your next step and at the same time you're achieving a primary goal. As everyone else, I am looking forward to your next video. Love to you both from Ohio
So glad to see you both again. Have thought about you often. Welcome home !
Hello Tyler Hello Dobby
Just wanted to say it's lovely to see your splendid selves again
Sure glad you two are alive. You gave got to be the hardiest homesteader I ever watched Countless trips, thru the snow to van over Mountain, across rivers carrying wood, food, clothes, gear probably a cast iron sink or something too.Phew then 20 years of snow...Dobby seems rather excited to be back... Dobby has a super soft, warm blanket to curl in and watch your endless movement.Soon, soon the spring, the summer will come. When you sit outside you'll see sprigs, blossoms wildlife maybe you'll sing or sigh...and say it was all worth it.Then preps for winter will begin again. How foresight full it was of you to gather and cut that wood before hand, then the heavens opened up and blanketed you in for quite à sleep.May all your dreams come true young one.
Are you going to identify all the fruit trees in orchard, prune and harvest for sale or winter goods?
Awesome to see you 2 back again livin the dream. All the best 👍✌️
You were missed. Glad you and dobby are well.
so glad to hear from you and what a surprise to see you at the cabin! Also, amazing drone footage, what a pleasure to watch
So glad you are back. Missed you both.
Glad to see you back, we missed you.
You survived a maritime winter so far, granted this winter has been a very unusual one to begin with.
I was so glad to see your video pop up. You and Doby have been on my mind a lot this winter. I love seeing these videos. You have a lot of talent, not to mention a solid work ethic.
Good to have you back! 👍
🙏❤️
So glad you're back with another video. My question for a future video would be what you can tell us about your progress with an access road! If it's covered in legal stuff, no worries.
Oh my gosh!!! So so so happy to see you both!!!
The only problem with this video is that we want another one. Dobbs is adorbs. Now about that pink hoodie... 🤣
I try to stick to black but some times you just gotta go for it!
Appreciate it ❤️🙏
Taking care of yourself is the #1 priority, glad you were able to get to a better place. Hope the winter went well, can't wait for your next video and the q&a session.
Welcome back TH-camr!! Have been missing your videos. Great to see you back
Great to see you and Dobby back Tyler. Looking forward to seeing more of you
I love how you take such good care of your sweet little dog!! I am also a dog lover, and I appreciate seeing other dogs being cared for in a great way like yours.
We were getting worried about you hope are ok. From Australia
Yeahhhhh so pleased to see you’re both back, excited to continue watching you share your journey with us. Take care, both of you 😊
Glad to see you're back at the cabin! With all the snow you have, you should keep a pot of melting snow on the wood stove instead of lugging that jerry can down to the creek. Thanks, and take care :)
Glad to hear that you guys are doing well. It was a real pleasure to see this new video. We always enjoy watching you and Dobbys adventures. What a breathtaking view you have. Stay warm and safe. Thanks for sharing.
Totally unreal the amount of fire wood you can gather and chop. You are a machine !!! psst: Hi Dobby !!
Good to hear from you and that you and Dobby are ok.😊
Welcome back! Good thing you took care of your mental health as it is so important to take care of! Happy to see you back and we already wait for the next one !
🙏❤️
So glad to see you both again. My extended family went through that extreme storm too. Quiet a challenge but you have persevered and it is a lovely video.
It's great to see you two back at the cabin again!!❤
Your aerial photography and music pairings are so beautiful. I watch your hard work with awe and respect. Thank you for sharing with us.
Glad your back and broken the silence, great to see Dobby again, stay strong
I come from New Brunswick. Been many years that I've been gone. So glad I found your videos.
No questions here, just glad to see you're both doing okay and I hope to be able to continue following you in your journey.
Missed you! Tons of love from Alberta.Don’t get over whelmed with the tasks at hand just enjoy them and as my dad has always said Rome wasn’t built overnight. Your doing a fantastic job and I wish I could do what you do full-time.
Sooo happy you are doing well and the pup is doing well also. It seems that every ones weather has been brutal. The posting you did of all the hard work that has been done since you are back at your home is beautiful. Carrying the logs on your shoulder is exhaughsting work. You have earned the lumber jack name award for sure.Thank you for taking us along on your journey. Your place is breath taking enjoy life in your peaceful place.
Whatever your plans are for that cabin it absolutely needs some sort of rooftop viewing platform. You look over such a beautiful scenic view.
What was the most important lesson learned this winter and what are your plans? Fantastic video, cannot wait for more. You’re an excellent storyteller.
Was just thinking of you the other day!! So glad you’re back and doing well. Miss your videos. ❤
🙏❤️
Glad to see you both back. Well done wintering in the cabin, looking forward to hearing about your progress and discoveries.
What a fantastic start to my day her in Australia to wake up and see a new video from you. A delight to see how your efforts are paying off … you must be fit with all of that walking and wood carrying. You are living a wonderful adventure and I wish you all the very best. I so enjoy your videos and look forward to future ones. Stay well.👍😀
Thank you for posting! We had a class in high school about " Abnormal Psychology", and it taught us students about some labels and types of mental illness. But, nobody spelled out a definition of what constitutes a " Mentally Healthy person". So over the years I've observed lots of everyday people, and tried to identify " Who is mentally healthy?" I admire people whose work requires patience, diligence, and intelligence, and some mechanical people strike me as an example of " healthy", because they work in such a way to analyze, and solve problems that it is impressive, and sometimes astounding, what they accomplish. I can't say that mechanical aptitude alone constitutes mental wellness, but it seems like a common feature of a healthy mind. Please don't stress yourself out about meeting a quota of video production. Most of youtube watchers just find it entertaining. Have a good week!
don't apologise for needing time, wow that's what you call snow! can't believe you and dobs made it through that in an unwinterized cabin 😮 what a trooper 👏 look forward to more videos and I have no questions just here for the journey 😀
GO LIVE!! LOVE Y'ALL!!❤
I’m so happy to see that you and Dobby are well. You should be so proud of how resilient and strong you are. Love from Massachusetts USA ❤
After going through one of the most consistently hot and humid summers here in Australia in years and years, I longed for some cold snowy weather (which never happens in this part of Oz), but after seeing what you guys have to go through to keep warm and survive, I’m not sure who’s better off with these weather extremes. I’m so glad you’re back to videoing, I really enjoyed it and really looking forward to more.
Yeah, summer in Aus has been horrible. Still an El Niño they say. I dunno about that one 😁.
What state are you in? I’m in NSW.
No need to apologise. I am just glad you and Dobby are doing okay, and pleased you are back.
So glad to see that you are both doing well!! Looking forward to to seeing you more, as well as, your Beautiful piece of this world!! 🥰🙏🏻❤️
so glad to see you back at the cabin
Welcome back. Missed you guys. Love from South Africa 🇿🇦
Welcome back!! So glad all is well 😊🙏
There is absolutely nothing mental about someone that loves mother nature! You may get depressed at times, who doesn't living in these evil times where hate is practiced more than goodness. Look at how fortunate you are to have a life where mother nature and man's best friend are your neighbors!!
Wonderful to see you two back. Cheers
I keep checking for a video, so happy to see you both.
Make this year getting you both comfortable in the cabin, doing so well am proud of you.😊xx
Hello again! Shouldn't be much longer and spring will be here.
Hoping so! We’re getting rain again today and a lot of the grass is already showing itself 🌱
Greetings from Wisconsin. Good to see you back Tyler and Dobby!☃️
Glad you're back and in a good headspace.
Yah, hi Tyler, it’s great to see you back. I was worried about you and was hoping that you were somewhere warm and safe. It’s lovely to see your friend Dobby as well. I’m sure he is great company. Take it easy now and try to stay inside during this terrible weather. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Hi Tyler & Dobby glad to see you back .Have missed your videos .So thankyou for this video . Views of mountain and snow is so Beautiful .
Keep warm😊
Never apologize for your life. Glad to see you at the cabin, experiencing all the wonders of winter. A great challenge for you this winter. Take care and give Dobby a pet for us. We are off to Cape Breton for our holidays this year, love that area.
Amazing video and footage!
Thanks very much.
Just surviving out there is a massive achievement, something that not many people would even contemplate
Awesome to see you both, I have missed your videos. What an absolutely stunning place you live. You are such a hard worker.
So happy to have you back! Will you be able to do a road to the cabin this year?
Thank you! 🙏❤️
I’ll save this question for an upcoming video. This week I need to build a few walking bridges to cross the creek to go check it out.
Hoping you are well!
Well done! 12 minutes of serene footage without a word spoken; however, that's the truest thing about showing us what it's like being alone, eh? At one point (10 minutes in), I thought to myself, "boy I'm still rivetted to this and he hasn't said a word yet" 🤣 and all the time, I was watching the "like" count going up. Tell us about the blizzard: how long did it last?; how did you keep occupied?; how was Dobby get to do his business?; did you run out of batteries charges??? This must be a very gratifying thing for you! Again, well done and let's keep going!
Glad your back
Good to have you back!
Glad you’re back! Wondered about you frequently after your last video ended on a rather despondent note about failure. Given the major obstacles you faced with your cabin it’s astounding you got as much done as you did in a short time frame. I’m actually glad you stayed the winter and the van forced a change of plans. I hope you are giving yourself huge credit for the physical endurance, emotional resilience and mental determination you’ve developed. No water, no electricity, no accessible road, no vehicle and yet you’ve survived and reveled in the deepest snow storm in 20 years in an unwinterized cabin! Tyler, man, you can do anything! Questions: What’s next? Road status? Are you thinking of getting another vehicle that can get back to the cabin? Are you still in love with your property? Will you go forward with your homesteading plans? Water? Electricity? All the questions. 🤣 Gorgeous video. Your videography skills are great. Please keep up the fabulous work. With you on your journey. 💚🙏🏻💚
Aw thank you so much, I really appreciate it 🙏❤️
(I will bank you questions for a future video :)
So glad to see that you & Dobby are doing okay! Gorgeous footage!
Wow so happy to see you and Dobby again have been thinking about you both and worrying too !
Cheering you on from Scotland x Rosie
Hi Tyler & Dobby! No apologies are needed from you. We should all take a time-out for reflection. It's in our quiet and stillness that we receive our answers to our lives. My heart is full when I see the nature that surrounds you. Much love & blessings to you & Dobby!
🙏❤️
I was thinking wow, that not only takes alot of physical strength but mental strength as well, and then right after I thought that, you said it in your own words! Smile! What I really wanna say is that you've found real Peace on Earth out there! ❤
My family used to remove the screen door from our furnace room when I was a kid so we could get out when the snow blew in.
I had forgotten I was subscribed to this channel, it's been that long 🙂
Thanks for the beautiful pictures and enjoy your time there!
Some seriously beautiful shots in the opening sequence, brother.
