Nice job. Is the discoloration on the area of the hood that was not covered by the PPF due to UV damage or is it just dirty? I have some 2008 PPF over white paint that I’m considering removing, and I’m concerned difference in UV exposure will leave a noticeable two tone effect
My hood has major clear coat failure and over time the UV has discoloured the hood and so the colour difference is very obvious. However if you can’t see a big difference now between your PPF section and your non PPF Section and your paint is in overall good condition you should be safe. I would recommend a polishing step in the end would blend things together as best as possible.
Great video, never seen it done like that before. BTW , how’s the performance of your steamer, I mean on tough stains like grease or something similar?

Thanks, steamer has been performing great 👍 it’s very effective and has been really handy in situations where interiors are difficult to clean
Is the steamer effective ?
