While I was using the HSL/ Color panels and other tools, your explanation and workflow basically makes it super simple to under why these edits work and how to approach each edit.

Dear Lucy - I could bite myself - Tried it today and it is just sooooo much easier and simple to work out which color to alter. Jesus! And I have been using LR on a professional level for years and never put two and two together.

Watched this video as my first video from Lucy and I can't believe Lucy is so good in making professional TH-cam videos by cutting the crap other TH-cam channels do. She has a soft voice, neither too fast nor too slow and I very much liked the way Lucy presented it with a great example. I'm just a fan of Lucy now :)

Lucy is so awesome in using HSL that she even magically can zoom out pictures and get stuff arround the subject which was not even photographed!
Wonderfully presented tutorial. Same for the earlier tone curves video. You have a knack for simplifying features that make a world of difference to the final image.

NEW VIDEO!! Woot woot! I use those graduated filters all the time to add a little depth and dynamics, works like a charm depending on the photo :D

Super helpful video! As someone just starting out with photography and editing, the one area that is confusing is the HSL tab. I always tinker with it not liking the results, but this video gives me some confidence that it's not as hard as it looks! Thanks for the great content and keep it up!!!

Really good video. When I first learnde HSL I used the eyedropper incorrectly thinking that it would allow me to make changes to a more narrow color selection, but all it does is move the same sliders that I see people in videos like you have here. I have noticed that better retouchers seem to go straight to the sliders.
I learned a lot from this channel. Very informative. The best by far. I have LR but i don't use it coz im really confused and no idea how to. But now im excited, gotta start using it now. Big thanks 🙏🏻
