In this HSL Lightroom tutorial I share a breakdown of how the HSL panel works by targeting specific colors in your image using Hue, Saturation and Luminance. I also share an example of how to use the HSL sliders to achieve a more filmic look and luminescent skin tones when color grading and editing portraits in Lightroom.

Lightroom on desktop and Snapseed or Aviary on mobile. Only because I'm too lazy to sync my presets to mobile...
😂Love Snapseed! That and Lightroom mobile are my go-to's for editing from my phone. First I'm hearing of Aviary though. I'll have to check it out!

I wish I was more technically minded to get this stuff. This and the curves just boggle me. I'll just watch and enjoy them but not do them, just can't get it - which is why I guess I use bridge and Photoshop. I have made the presets to work in photoshop anyway. I found a photographer who has an entire light and airy suite of presets I can afford so I'll get those.
