    Thanks Lucy Martin. Just found your videos this morning. I love your presentation Technique.
    Have you done or can you do a video on your workflow to remove the specs on the water. I have used the healing brush before but after seeing your finished edit I think I need to refine my methods.
    Great channel. I'm now a fan.

    • @TheLucyMartin
      @TheLucyMartin  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Andrew, first of all thanks so much for the kind words. And actually, I SHOULD do a video on removing those specs (I didn't think anyone would care in this tutorial, but a bunch of you have asked about it) SO I'll make that for sure :)
      Quick note now though, I did removed those spots in Photoshop - if you try to do too much spot removal in Lr it'll actually slow the program down which is super annoying - so head over to Photoshop and in this it was a mix of healing and clone stamp.
      Thanks again!

    It was just a simple Lightroom tutorial and then it got interesting. You started to give compositional advice on improving the image and communicated these compositional concepts. First, you used the oval tool to highlight the center swan by decreasing the clarity around the swan which blurs the background. Then you used a second adjustment brush to increase the contrast of the swan’s shadow in the water by increasing saturation, shadows, whites and highlights; make color temp more blue; and darken the blacks crating a striking contrast with the white swan. These edits direct the viewers attention to the center swan the “focal point” and creates a swan reflection that pops.
