    What's your favourite tool in Lightroom? The tone curve is definitely one of my favs, but interested to know what you guys love?

      Lucy Martin after the delete button I would say the HSL sliders and the tone curve. Can totally change an image but I use photoshop for my prints.

      I'm confused...when I click on a spot on the tone curve it a spot doesn't stick. Not sure what I'm doing wrong :-/

    great point about the color profile curve tones! playing around with colored shadows, midtones and highlights can create a crazy image!

    I freakin LOVE the tone curve! It’s such a game changer and definitely gives a photo a completely different look. I used to rely on apps/presets that would just do the work for me when I would apply them to photos, but now I can create my own looks!

    Great video Lucy! So many people make videos on the Tone Curve but they hardly ever touch on the individual Red, Green and Blue channels! In fact you made me realise that when you drop those below the baseline, you're not just pulling out that colour but actually injecting its opposite! Great to know, that's definitely gonna change my usage of those!

      AronBagel ohh yeah! The RGB channels in the tone curve are so powerful and a great way to give a consistent style to your photos. Have fun trying it out!!

    thanks for making this Monday suck a little less Lucy! :D I actually use the tonecurve for every photo I edit though it's still always interesting to see how other creators explain and use it..in this case you've kinda motivated me to experiment some more with the colour tone curves! :P

      I love the colour tones, you can do some much with them. I wanted to go more into that side of things, but first just wanted to have a video explaining the basics. I might do a more in-depth one of colours eventually though. Have fun trying it out!

    An excellent simple tone curve explanation. I always use one if the 3 default settings as it looked too complicated but it's really quite easy. You have another subscriber 👍
